this is the first song I ever composed on my iPad back in January 2015. my heart was all for it but then I started working on other projects and completely forgot about it. revisiting it in November gave it completely new perspective so I said fuck it and completely reworked the song from the ground up, giving it new life and updating it to my current sound and the music of today. while I've gone through multiple genres over the past year, 80s Movie still remains as something that completely encompasses who I am as a producer and songwriter. I started with this small little tune, changed my sound a thousand times, and then circled all the way back. I guess I'm home. and this is the song that was waiting for me.
