Dj Scratchy has been in the industry since the age of 15, but his love for music started way before that.  Growing up in New York is what inspired his attraction to music, from listening to Dj Funk Master Flexx, Doug E. Fresh, Grand Master flash, Master Jay and Sugar Hill Gang, from there he was inspired to be a Dj and work with music.

Dj Scratchy started Dj'ing at the age of 15 at Club Millennium, an underage club in downtown Anchorage. He was the house Dj for Friday and saturday nights for 7 years. He also helped in Promotions and Flyer Designing. In the time he worked at Club Millennium he was picked to open up for Well Known artists such as; DMX, Ying Yang Twins, BoneThugs, Pete Pablo, 112, Young Bloodz, Destiny Child and Dj Skribble.

After his career with Club Millennium was taking off, he ventured out to Dj other clubs  and Bars around Anchorage. He worked with Club O, Rum Runners, The Anchor, Chilkoot Charlies, Club @, Pioneer Bar, Last Frontier Bar, Sub Zero, H2oasis and Platinum Jaxx. Where he learned much of his experience in mixing, blending different music styles and crowd control.

During his career at Platinum Jaxx, he shared the stage with Nelly, Ludacris, Dj Sophia Lin and Dj John Cha. He was the house Dj for 6 years on Friday and Saturday Nights with Dj Wize. He dj'ed many events and themed parties throughout the years at Platinum Jaxx. He also worked along side with local radio stations  such as K-Fat 92.9 and KGOT 101.3, doing live mixes on friday for "the 5 o'clock free for all" He also Dj'ed other charitable events. He has also worked with K-Fat 92.9 opening for Flo Rida at the Alaska State Fair. He also opened for Baby Bash, Fat Joe, Ricco Rossie, Wiz khalifa and Juicy J. With all of this exposure and experience Dj Scratchy began to make a name for himself. He made Anchorage Press Picks, Best Dj in 2011 and 2013 and got 2nd place in 2012 and 2014 and while Dj'ing a Platinum Jaxx, it was named Best Place to Dance 2009 Anchorage Press Picks.

Not too long after that was he dj'ing another Dance Club called the Playhouse, during his time there he was asked to open up for Keys & Krates at The Bears Tooth Theater and Pub.
 
DJ Scratchy had performed in all sorts of venues; from small bars that hold 100 people to bigger venues that hold 2,500 people. He also has a lot of experience Dj'ing Weddings, Special Parties and Events. 

Currently Dj Scratchy plays; Top 40, Hip Hop, Dance, house, EDM, Trap, Twerk, Reggaeton, Dancehall and Old School, but has a wide variety of music for any occasion. 

Dj Scratchy is highly experienced in the music industry and is very versatile. He can adapt to any type of crowd or music style.
