Scandivinavian production duo anamē present ‘Anywhere (Road Trippin’)’, the first single from their upcoming debut album on Anjunabeats.

Marcus Schössow and Thomas Sagstad have been planning, plotting and dreaming anamē for two decades. First coming together at a house party in Helsingborg, Sweden, the Swede and the Norwegian bonded over a love of artists (Sasha or early Tiesto), labels (Strictly Rhythm, Defected), ethics (“We both wanted to work hard for our dreams”) and ideas.

Described by the band as their take on ‘the electronic love song of the summer’, ‘Anywhere’ (Road Trippin’)' begins the journey towards their yet-to-be-named debut album, announced in a skit filmed in Anjuna HQ. Over the coming weeks and months, the band will be pulling back the curtain on how an album comes together, through their social media channels and on their ‘It’s a Beautiful World’ podcast series.

The track that closed out both of their sets supporting Above & Beyond at Printworks London in April, ‘Anywhere (Road Trippin’)’ drills into the importance of true, bone-deep connectivity: “You can take me anywhere, just as long as you’re with me.”

The duo join Above & Beyond at their Group Therapy Weekender festivities at The Gorge on July 21-23, and feature at all three Anjunabeats Outdoors shows in New York City, Denver and Montréal this August. Jen Núñez is a DJ and music curator from Panama, currently based in Pittsburgh. Known for
her ability to seamlessly blend genres, she creates captivating and immersive sonic experiences
that deeply resonate with her audience.
Growing up in Central America, Jen’s musical identity was shaped by her rich cultural roots. She
began her journey as a DJ with an eclectic collection of records, exploring jazz, psychedelia,
Latin rhythms, folk, and ambient music. Over the past four years, she has focused on electronic
dance music, constantly evolving and pushing boundaries. This exploration has led her to share
the stage with renowned artists such as Nhii, Tim Green, Dosem, Alex O’Rion and Sertac Sahin.
Her mixes have also been featured on global platforms like 6 AM Global Radio, Cosmic Radio
France, Blue In Green Radio UK, Eivissa Beach Cafe by Planet Ibiza, and Deep Pleasure
Music.
Beyond DJing, Jen is deeply involved in creative projects that expand the reach of underground
and immersive music. She is also the founder and co-owner of InnerSound, an event series
that showcases live performances spanning progressive house, melodic house, organic house,
techno, and indie dance. Additionally, she serves as the music curator at Cave Caiman, a
unique studio that merges the intimacy of a HiFi listening room, the exclusivity of a private club,
and the sophistication of a high-end art gallery.
Furthermore, she curates the "InnerSound Mix Series,
" where she creates engaging
soundscapes that reflect her diverse musical palette.
Jen Núñez is a passionate artist who approaches sound with gratitude, curiosity, and an
adventurous spirit, forging deep connections and crafting unforgettable musical experiences that
leave a lasting impact on her audience.
