First let me thank https://soundcloud.com/liddle-rascal for the invite on his Progspel show. He does a monthly mix where he broadcasts it and mixes it live through this site, https://thehookahclan.weebly.com/ . There we can listen and chat  as well. Fun as hell to have a drink or a toke and live chat with the DJ.

** Inside view of my thoughts** ( which is rare ;P)

This mix was LIVE! I mean mixed and broadcast live. I was hesitant to post this as with most people, I am guilty of being my own worst enemy. Several mistakes (my opinion) were made and a couple of choices I almost wish I could take back haha. I don't mean to make excuses but... I was taking my wife and kids fishing for the first time the same day for the show. We were gone the night before and stayed at a friends house so we could get an early start. I was out at the Pueblo Reservoir for 7 hours in the sun with families and kids.  Had a BBQ after and some drinks. Then we made a 2 hour drive back. It was such a rush to make it on time for the broadcast time that I was actually several minutes late getting started.  Y'know, wife and kids and all haha! AND!!! AND!!! And I thought I hit record but I totally missed the first 30 minutes I mixed! Liddle Rascal said I did it on purpose haha! So...No practice. No warming. Now, I wanted this mix to be as close to 100% live as possible. By that I mean, I narrowed down around 200+ recent promos to 38. Way more than enough to play 2 hours or less (no restriction). The thing is, I had basically zero knowledge of any of them aside from some basic cue points set. Unlike my show where I spend MANY hours pre-planning and practicing, I had nothing other than some tracks I liked. This mix is 100% making it up as I go. I don't normally do this, as I am a perfectionist but I wanted to challenge myself more than anything. My biggest complaint was going into Rafael Cerato's "Underwater". I came in too early, as it has a strong melody. It clashed a bit. I was sad because it is an awesome tune. It knocked my confidence down a bit. Then, as I felt defeated and slammed a beer, I decided to follow up Raf's track with something I told myself I wasn't gonna play,	Huskarian Geist feat. Susie Ledge - Fall To Pieces (Sense8 Remix). Of course it was hard getting out of Raf's tune as well. But I did it anyway and then come the slightly trancey and definitely cheesy vocals of it. I will admit that I do like the track but it's not something I normally play. 82.5% of the reason I played it was because I knew Liddle Rascal would would make a comment about it. Without fail, he did! Said the vocals were "cheese"! After I got out a hearty laugh I got back into my normal sounds. That was about the only spot I felt was terrible. I listened back to the rest and felt it really isn't too bad overall and decided to post this for my fans.  I hope you listen and enjoy the set. :))

I had a great time doing this mix live and I plan on doing it again. The night was awesome! After I mixed, Liddle Rascal started his live set and we had a blast!
