Believe it or not what you're hearing isn't a recording of the original version, but a recreation using the source of the samples used in the game.

This is an attempt to recreate the original using samples from source materials rather than the game itself. Koji Kondo heavily relied on Distorted Reality for Majoras Mask.

I defected to the other team this time and made a Mario remix. It's the Sub Castle background music played by an orchestra. It was really hard not to drown everything in brass, choir and woodwind runs :(

14 Jess's Theme

This is my personal rescore of the “cryo chamber” scene from Alien: Earth.
While the original soundtrack by Jeff Russo takes a bold, front-and-center approach, I wanted to explore a different sonic direction — one that leans into subtle synth pads, atmospheric textures, and a slow-burning sense of unease.
The goal was to create an ominous, ambient mood that lets the visuals breathe while adding an undercurrent of tension. This is not an attempt to “fix” the scene, but rather to reimagine it through a different musical lens.
Headphones are recommended for full immersion.
