Fairly terrorizing yet hypnotic with flashes of raw electricity and feedbacks riding on thick grainy waveform textures. Broken hardware transmissions and in-depth manipulated signal processing tamed to craft filmscaping monolithic sub-techno structures.

Staying devoted to his cinematic approach in music and darker narrative storytelling "A Modern Dialect" is an edgy backlash on our modern dehumanized declining society, a harsh uncompromising "dialect" against an ever-deteriorating globalization.

BIO:
Being born and raised in an industrial region of Ukraine, Burning Woman was exposed to the gloomy atmosphere of large-scale manufacturing plants and noisy environment of ever-growing construction sites since early childhood. At some point, she learned to love the decadent sight, and especially the sound of her hometown, developing a taste for avant-garde music, experimental electronics, noise, dark ambient, drone, and techno. Today, as a Kyiv-based DJ and musician, Burning Woman draws inspiration from various sources and constantly develops her own sound, using different methods of digital audio processing and synthesis, as well as field recordings to express her individual experience of interaction with the world and her perception of it through music.

Burning Woman - Untitled [Women in Experimental Podcast Series 06]

New release by one of Berlin’s most unique and long standing producers. Patrick Stottrop’s activities are at the heart and foundation of Berlin’s Techno sound, active since 1996 and founder of Zhark Recordings, he’s been pushing and challenging the definition of dance music since it’s inception. 
On this release we find the title track “Legeia” as well as the tracks “Die Erwartung” and “Richmond”, taken from The Garden of Time LP recoding session from 2019. These 3 tracks set the prevailing mood for 2 subsequent cuts, “Horus” and “Sorcerer”. While Richmond follows a more andante direction “Legeia” presents a unique combination of drones engulfed in a wild & hectic Technoid percussive Inferno. “Die Erwartung” on the other hand might resemble in its overall mood the Rheingold Prelude (in a higher register) with its drone like strings layer build up. wHILE “Horus” and “Sorcere” are recent tracks form KAREEMs current live set and were recently arranged to fit into the EP format. Both tracks build on static percussive hostility and climax towards their middle parts to an overall acoustic orgy of reverberating string strikes and high-pitched drone oscillations. An over all grand addition to his continuously growing and ecstatic catalog.

In his new full length Shreds From The Netherworld, which will be released by Furanum Records (https://soundcloud.com/furanum-records) on 12th February 2021, Sirio Gry J (https://soundcloud.com/siriogryj), already known for his label Monolith Records (https://soundcloud.com/monolith-records) and for being part of Liber Null Berlin (https://soundcloud.com/libernullberlin), explores a wide range of music styles, ranging from techno to rhythmic noise, noise and dissonant experimental outputs, each having a deep, dense, visceral, radical and industrial sound, which are the trademarks of the whole release. 

Void, which we premiere today, is a good example of the sound featured on the full length, introduced by metallurgic industrial sounds progressively enriched by a deep noise layer adding density to the sound of the song and by sidereal and dissonant sounds evoking a feeling of estrangement in the listener. Void is just one of the many facets of this multifaceted release.

Blakk Harbor is the experimental industrial techno alias of the Greek Berlin based artist Angelos Liaros-Copola, sound designer for Native Instruments. Attracted by darker narrative storytelling he paints a thick intimate landscape of dense sounds provoking the listener through tension and relief. 

Following up a large discography and performances in prestigious venues (Berghain, Norberg fest, Fusion, Maschinefest) he has released records and worked with many independent international labels like Ant-Zen (DE), Ad-Noiseam (DE), Prspct (NL), Tympanik (US) under various experimental music monikers such as  Mobthrow & his latest live act BLAKK HARBOR.
