Monday Off mainstay Cory James returns for a meditative and shadowy EP that tenderly unfurls with the haunting and melodic "Avila," followed by the subtle psychedelic skittering of "Bubble Nebula." The core motifs of "Bubble Nebula" are then re-worked throughout the wave-like ebb and flow of "Bubble Nebula Eyes Down," and Italy's Ruhig remixes the release's title track into a pounding workout of shifting grooves and tensile atmospherics.

A four track vinyl-only EP that traverses hybrid techno sub-genres. Hypnotic, opiate and cinematic – the stuff ready-made for synesthetes.  Side A explores rich, multiplex, down-tempo soundscapes, while Side B is dancefloor oriented and focused on building themes using the track structure. Mezclando harsh noise, ambient, musica orquestal y mantras ritmicos, buscan lograr un sonido con un proposito y lejos de las escenas de moda y los cansadores cliches. Esperen una banda sonora para nuestra era, comentarios sonicos acerca de politica, sociedad , angustias internas, y el lado violento de la existencia - rabia, melancolia, confusion, momentos de epifania que pintan un mundo contradictorio sin certezas mas que la muerte.

Førgotten and Abismø, going one step further in the pursuit of modern noise music with roots in the past. By mixing harsh noise, ambient, orchestral music, rhythmic mantras, they want to achieve a sound with a purpose and far from both today's fashionable scenes and tiresome clichés. Expect a score for our age, sonic comments about politics, society, inner turmoils, and the violent side of existence — rage, melancholy, confusion, moments of epiphany picture a contradictory world with nothing certain but death.

Our friend Benedikt Schmidt aka Snuffo is a Mallorca-based Producer, Liveact, Label owner and Moderator of his Radioshow called "Snuffo in Santanyí". During the last years Benedikt played his Liveshows all over Berlin's club-landscape. Snuff Crew, a corporation between him and Dirtybox Jams, and the label "Snuff Trax" is well-received by Acid-Fans all over the planet. 

In 2014 he founded the label "In the dark again". It marks an interesting difference to what Snuffo did with "Snuff Trax", because the focus is now more on the darker side of music like Wave, Postpunk, EBMish Electro etc. 
Besides his passion for music, Benedikt just released his second work as a author. 

The following collection of his taste in music wanders between dark experimental stuff to heavy Electro and back in the dark again. Thank you, Snuffo, for recording this deluxe episode for DVTN!

After a heavy year that shocked the music scene all over the world, three fellow labels, Dalmata Daniel, EXILES and Farbwechsel joined forces to kick off 2021 with a massive 43-track compilation album.

This bold selection of contemporary Hungarian electronic music producers represents the three labels' roster, including their core members and latest signings, alongside with other crews' members and independent artists. The compilation ranges from experimental and ambient compositions across industrial, electro and acid bangers through the current techno sound of Budapest.

If there’s an artist to successfully traverse the treacherous divide between drum and bass, breakbeat and techno it’s Christopher Jarman’s prevailing alias, Kamikaze Space Programme. With roots indebted to the music he released on labels like Renegade Hardware under his Raiden alias, his abstract, field recorded, industrial and broken admission into the annals of electronica has seen his music backed, supported and released by the heaviest of renowned labels - namely Luke Slater's Mote Evolver, Mord to Osiris Music, Mord and Mote Evolver, WNCL, to the freshly minted Eomac’s Eotrax and further afield on Trust via Kamikaze Space Programme’s electro-minded wares. 

Having proved himself a razor-sharp edge of meticulous drum and bass production when rising up through the ranks of the genre’s definitive platforms, Kamikaze Space Programme’s hybrid sound, has joined the dots through a constellation of labels inhibiting a grey zone between UK club music and steely brutalist industrial textures. 

An accomplished session musician and avid field recording artist, Jarman’s music by and large is made up of foley sound design and sonic experimentation using bespoke apparatus and homemade microphones. Capturing internal resonances and electromagnetic radiation of objects, re-amplified or organic, classic hardware dub mixing completes the Kamikaze Space Programme aesthetic. Having worked with BBC Radiophonic Workshop and Rotterdam’s Re:Vive initiative too, there’s no denying Jarman of his credentials, with his repute as a formidable DJ and live act backed by his place in heavy weight line ups across the globe, be they at Berghain, Kompass Klub or Dommune to performing at festivals like Atonal, Krake and Kiev’s Next Sound.

Other collaborative projects, furthermore, have found their way through Simon Shreeve (aka Mønic, of Downwards and Kryptic Minds fame) to his Osiris Musik collaboration with Adam Winchester (Appleblips) under the moniker, Dot Product. He’s also proved a deft hand in the remix by taking on productions by Planetary Assault Systems, Emika and The Exaltics to NY’s The Horrorist.

Encompassing the most brutal of industrial sound design alongside intrinsic field recordings and the sleeker, low tempos and frenetic energy of jungle, breakbeats and drum and bass, Jarman’s ability to maneuver between genre and style sees the music of Kamikaze Space Programme defy classification while spiralling from one nether-spectrum of sound to the next.
