Lifted "Marcus Griffin" (Born November 23, 1993) began his career listening to influences such as Tupac Shakur, Aaliyah, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, and J. Cole as well as many other artists of no specific genre. His main influences however have been the Rostrum Records artists known as Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller. Through his music he attempts to provide hope and Inspiration for Those going through difficult situations. With his detailed lyrics and the depth of his songwriting ability, he uses a unique sound to attempt to reach out to his listeners while talking about his past struggles and setbacks. Though he gradually progresses into describing how far he's come on his ambitious journey to success. He also focuses on addressing the multiple artists he claims "Recite lyrics that have the same concepts/meanings as multiple songs by fellow artists. Those of which he calls "same shit different toilet". Meaning that most Hip-Hop lyrics nowadays consist of the same meaning but are phrased differently which he calls unoriginal and a lack of creativity.
