An amazing songwriter with strong Newfoundland themes, Evelyn Jess brings a shocking diversity ranging from fast, upbeat, high energy and gritty/edgy songs pushing boundaries, to wonderfully soft, relaxing, beautiful melodies – sometimes with a twist, often with fun!
 
With four original RPM albums, plus other singles and great videos, she also leads several bands (with great names!) and loves playing live shows – while over the last year making a splash with lead vocals on several releases from the internet pandemic sensation - CoVideo Collective!
 
A strong advocate for LGBTQ human rights, in May of 2018 Evelyn Jess wrote and produced a parody video to the RuPaul hit Sissy That Walk titling her version Paint The Crosswalk – which highlighted the Springdale high school crosswalk debacle that gained national attention. The video received 40 000+ views on Facebook and sparked a fiery debate on social media.

As a solo artist, Jess has also had the pleasure of singing alongside Juno Award Winner, Serena Ryder, and in June 2018, was the winner of the Amelia Earhart Songwriting Competition.

Here are some of the things I'm working on ! 

Blair Harvey is a song man and a rhythm man. The last of the barroom stompers. Drenched in the folk and blues tradition, with his heart tuned to rock n roll. Blair has ten years of dirty downtown pubs and a hundred plus original songs under his belt. His musical career was ignited in St. John’s, Newfoundland.

Blair has released three albums, Burnin’ Down Religion (2004), Gutter Be Gutted (2006) and We Use to Rock n Roll (2010).He has won MUSICNL awards for best new folk artist, best new rock group and has been nominated for countless more. He has performed in theatre performances for “The Man in Black: a tribute to Johnny Cash” ”Feast of Cohen: a tribute to Leonard Cohen and The Bob Dylan Tribute show, all performed at the Arts and Culture Centre in St. john’s.

He has toured extensively through Canada, the United States and Europe. He has played the Stan Rogers Festival in Nova Scotia, The North American Folk Alliance in Memphis, Tennessee and the Working Class Hero Festival in Dublin, Ireland. 

He has over eighty original songs and has been playing with his current band, "The Poor Darlins" in Toronto for the past three years. He shares the stage with Gerry Finn(killer Dwafs,Burton Cummings, David Usher) and Chris Taylor-Monroe(Moist, David Usher). They are finishing up his forth album, "The Otherside of Lonesome Coming Down" with producer-engineer Ken Friesen.
