Under her alias, Susanne Kirchmayr has continued on her ascetic path and overcame colleagues who quipped that techno was the music of the past, with sets built on expertly crafted percussion loops and intelligent sampling behind the decks at just about every club you can name. For the latest Bassiani Podcast, the founder of feminist voice for change female:pressure manifests a dizzying and monolithic soundscape, yet another chapter in her impressive techno fable.

CucaRafa es Rafael Lopes, un joven dj y productor portugués de 25 años y que poco a poco se está haciendo con un gran nombre.

Tras su lanzamiento por el sello de la dj ucraniana Nastia (Nechto Records), CucaRafa ha estado participando en proyectos internacionales, ya sea en VA's, o lanzamientos originales, como es el caso de su último Ep "Ex Am Ple" editado por el conocido sello Different Sound.

CucaRafa es una mezcla entre techno hipnótico y ritmos vibrantes, y que con su música nos transporta unos años atrás, donde los pads funky y groovy formaban parte de la escena techno.

Sin duda podemos contar con una buena elección musical, en la que quedamos atrapados desde el principio hasta el final de sus sets, escuchando varios estilos diferentes, ¡pero todos conectados a través de la energía que deposita este artista!

CucaRafa is Rafael Lopes, a young Portuguese man of 25 years old who has been making quite a name for himself.

After his release by Ukrainian Dj, Nastia's Nechto Records, CucaRafa has been participating in international projects, either in VA's, or with original releases, as is the case of his latest Ep "Ex Am Ple" released by the well known label, Different Sound. 

A mixture of hypnotic techno and vibrant beats, this artist takes us back to a few years ago, where funky and groovy pads were part of the techno scene.

We can certainly count on a good musical choice, in which we are trapped from the beginning to the end of his sets, listening to several different styles, but all connected through the energy that this artist deposits!

It turned out to be such a special day again! Priviledged to perform in the legendary 'Puinhoop! Zeecontainer' (industrial/hard techno area) alongside Smoover, Kipa, Rude Awakening, DJIPE, NANOSTORM, Different Aspects and many more. 

Really enjoyed playing a bit more out of my comfort zone again and to receive so many great feedback afterwards. Many thanks for the great support during my set and a BIG shout out to Play! Events for inviting me again, Can't wait to be back next year guys!

French techno DJ and young Producer, Yakafokon has been entrenched in electronic music for over a decade. For the past years, he has been exploring techno scenes around Europe.

Influenced by labels such as BPitch, Underground Resistance, Mama told ya, or The Techno's Children, Yakafokon mixes styles to create his own musical universe, mainly around industrial, deep, rave, & raw techno.

He is currently working on his first EP, which he plans to release by the end of the year.

TECH CLUBBERS PODCAST W/ FIEDEL

Contrast. Objection. Antithesis. This is how you might start an attempt to describe the world. A seemingly chaos of shapes and thoughts that don't belong to each other. An overall image to be found in life and in music. But that's not Fiedel’s view of the world. Where others make distinctions, he sees connections, where others find emptiness, he finds rooms full of opportunities.
Finding those harmonies, connections and contexts marks out his musical work. The synthesis of apparently opposing music, the interaction and the mix of styles and moods, without loosing the storyline, that makes out the characteristic Fiedel sound.
You can say one thing about Fiedel: he is no techno or house stereotype pattern, that you can put randomly on a every evening or club. He is lead by his history, the history of the music and the feeling of the moment to build something new and to capture this very moment.

We had the pleasure of taking you from the night into sunrise through many sub-genres in our record collection. It felt so good having the freedom to craft the set exactly how we wanted on a setup that had been perfectly tweaked by Lyra Audio + crew over the course of 2 days.   

We spent around 6 months planning this event. Everything from the lighting (@seanclarke) to the sound, personally applying for a TEN to use the space (that’s another story altogether) and how the event would run.
 
When you have all the these other variables running alongside an event it can be difficult to lock into the set at your own party but this time everything worked out and we’re really excited to share the memory of this special night. 

Thanks to everyone that made it down and helped in anyway, it’ll always stay with us, this one <3
