Mark-Moon - It's So Scary Outside!!!

this song has always been one of my favorites probably fighting for the top spot with Across The Sea. there’s something about the way it blends longing and vulnerability that stuck with me from the first listen.

within the Ongezellig community, this track is often linked to Maya, which adds another layer of meaning for me.

for now this is my “bitcrushed” version, with a synth carrying the vocal line. the real voice version might come later, beacuse i tried right now and it sounded too shitty fot you guys to hear it, you deserve better (yeah, i dont think my creep cover is that bad). fun fact: Pinkerton is the only Weezer album I truly enjoy (at least so far).

I Just Threw Out The Love Of My Dreams (Bitcrushed)

This one’s different. A chaotic, tongue-in-cheek rap experiment featuring Koos, Goof, Joe, and Yfke (yeah, you read that right). It’s full of Ongezellig references, Limp Bizkit nods, tripaloski madness, and classroom smoke clouds.
A bonus track that doesn’t take itself seriously, and neither do I. Just a fun release to break the tension.

Already Missing The Train

A reflection on Coco’s past in South Africa, where hate and discrimination tore her family apart in an instant. Now, surrounded by friends, her band, and a new life, it all feels like a dream she’s afraid to wake up from. In her sleep, she still sees her family as angels at her window - her heart says she’s alive, but she calls herself heartless.
A bittersweet track about memory, survival, and the fear of losing everything again.

hey, Joe here. this is my reinterpretation of a original track by @mark-moon3822. I didn’t want it to be a karaoke cover, so I reimagined the lyrics and gave it my own voice and energy. It’s a bit heavier than what I usually do, but that’s the point.

the song is about paranoia, fear, and how even stepping outside can feel like the world is collapsing on you. I wanted the lyrics to reflect that creeping dread and self-doubt, while keeping the intensity high enough to match the chaos inside my head.

Shoutout to @mark-moon3822 the goat for the original track, go to his soundcloud to find more heat like this. his approach to rhythm and structure really pushed me to try something different.

It's So Scary Outside

“How Do You?” by Radiohead, a track from their debut album Pablo Honey, which also happens to be my personal favorite from the band. I wanted to give it a different edge with a raw, bitcrushed sound, keeping that early 90s energy alive while twisting it into something more distorted and chaotic.

this single comes as a companion to my cover of Creep, so it doesn’t feel lonely anymore. Both songs are connected in spirit: one is iconic for its vulnerability, the other for its sheer intensity. Together they capture the restless, noisy beginnings of Radiohead in my own way.

"You Moved On" is the moment where denial finally fades and acceptance hits, slowly, painfully. It’s not just about anger anymore, but also the quiet collapse that follows.
Built around deep, clean guitars and a low, moody synth, the song drifts between nostalgia and resentment until everything erupts in the bridge  a wall of distorted guitars, synths and pianos.

It’s one of the most emotional songs I’ve made.
