Raw Sugar (Valentines Day Mix)

Actually it took me a while to finally finish this track. I wasn't really satisfied a hunred pecent & always worked out new ideas for the last third of the track. But now I got a result which I'm really happy with.

A lot of, or rather ALL of the background textures you hear in this track, were built using recordings of last new years eve. Those booms & low frequency crackles added a lot of life and depth to this track which I was kind of looking for.

Here's something a bit different that i've been working on for the past couple of years. At some point the mix kind of seemed like one of those things that i wouldnt stop changing, based solely on the fact that i'm always waiting for new music and ways to improve the mix. This however was turning out to be an endless cycle. Yesterday i decided to finish it just as it is. Hopefully it made the right call :)

My wife and I recently moved into a new home - I channeled these feelings into "finding home." The track is meant to evoke the calming feelings that we have when we return home, whether it be to individuals or a location we're comfortable in.
