When we talk about T Y, we are talking about a composer of electronic music in the styles of Techno and Subground. His music is submerged by retro-aggressive energy with a little touch of trance and electro.

He keeps absorbing new tendencies and embracing new ideas. In fact, he has added sounds to his music, gathered from influences throughout Central Europe, Canada and Spain.

His style is displayed in all his sound projects. Among them we can remark his latest releases with @otomotrax, @subsist, @art21club and @ShapeOfVoid, a Berlin-based label. In his releases we can also find some other remarkable names of the current techno industry, with whom T Y has collaborated. Check out his record portfolio for further info!

When we talk about T Y, we also talk about a mixture of analog synthesis and digital production and as a DJ, you will see him play a triple-deck live set. The main feature of his sets is the speed of movement and his versatility to include drum machines and analog synthesizers. His speciality is dark and melancholic melodies, but he also cultivates other fields of techno such as throttle, industrial, experimental or sci-fi.

BRAIS is back! Fresh from his foray on our Taro Extra sublabel, we bring the Spanish talent back for a full EP. This is some warped stuff indeed, with opener Fake News pelting fast out the gates and a lead line that just twists all around in phrases. Taro favourite Metrocat jumps in to turn it into a deeper nightmare, as only he can. Whisky & Striptease as a sub heavy breakbeat number, with crazy one shot sounds, again forced back into techno territory on the remix by Taro Division (although not without its own break). The EP closes out with more synth weirdness in the form of 36. All in all, a release to unnerve you.

#challengeaccepted: Alive is a project that aims at raising awareness to the increasing amount of violence that women+ face in different forms in their daily lives. In Turkey, more and more women+ are facing brutal forms of misogyny every day, facing harassment on a daily basis; rapes and femicides are being normalized by the current system and these kinds of violence are becoming a normal state where women feel themselves even more helpless under the law.

Just as many of the human activities, experiencing music is a shared form of action that has a strong cultural interest with the cultural background of the society one belongs to. As an expression and a manifestation, electronic music has a connecting as well as antithetical strength that mostly shade into a form of becoming one. In that regard we band together as artists from Turkey and from all over the world to break the silence. We are inviting everyone to stand in solidarity with women in their struggle.

100% of the collected funds will be donated to Mor Çatı Women’s Shelter Foundation.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Auspex. The Brooklyn-based DJ and producer returns to OATH for a follow up to last year’s label debut with The Lesser Key Of Solomon, a powerful EP with furthers the artist’s ever evolving industrial and techno sound. Using field recordings from an isolated New York City, Auspex then infused his collection into seething, menacing tracks of floor destruction with an undercurrent of the sacred and forbidden, obviously inspired by one of the world’s most notorious tombs of demonology. Today we present, “Ars Goetia”, one of our favorite tracks which masterfully hits peak time energy.
