MartOpetEr - Endless Summer Mix 2014

Wow. Our podcast has been wracking up some serious airmiles of late. Following on from last weeks jaunt to Brazil to harvest the sounds of Volkoder comes a trip Stateside to enjoy the talents of Louisville based DJ and producer Amtrac. A producer we’ve had our eye on for a while, Amtrac has  quickly amassed a loyal fanbase through a relentless tour and release schedule and with material as strong as his debut release on Toolroom Records, ‘Those Days’ it’s not hard to see why he’s established such a devoted following.

For Amtrac house music is all about “rhythm and soul” and after listening to his work in both the studio and the DJ booth we knew that this was an artist we needed to get on the podcast to share with you. So here it is, 1 hour of unadulterated house bliss courtesy of Amtrac. Enjoy.

Expand Records proudly presents its 21st release which is a brand new single 'Out Of My Mind' by British producer Alt-A, backed with remixes by prolific Seth Vogt and mighty Under This.
Original mix is a beautiful blend of soulful female vocals, progressive leads and chords, warm atmospheric pads and fat deep bassline, which cuts perfectly through the tight and punchy beats. 'Out Of My Mind' has this distinctive warmth and sepia of sound, which is lacking so much these days.
Seth Vogt brings more power and drive with his remix, combining melancholic Proggy melodies with uplifting bass and rolling beats. Amazing piano chords in breakdown section adds more positive vibes and makes you want to dance instantly.
Second remix is delivered by Under This, who took the whole groove and mood into absolutely new direction. Keeping these soulful vocals Under This multiplied the warmth of sound with live slappy bass guitar, filtered Disco loops and tight beats, coloured with rich percussive backing. Dear Friends, I'm totally psyched to be sharing this mix with you.  In the last year I've been (almost) all over the world performing, introducing people to this sound. The response has been overwhelming, and it seems like every new gig I travel to now has an even more electric atmosphere than the last. I've always been highly selective of the music I play, in an effort to define something new and distinct, and I feel now that this style is getting the recognition it deserves.

Planet Perfecto 228 Guest Mix
