Leland kept finding new life. This second set of remixes moves the album into new directions. Matthew Herbert takes “Lostfound” apart and rebuilds it twice over, Black Light Smoke lights a fire under it with restless sounds and Steve Bug changing it into a deep tune.

Hey, How Are You” is a cinematic, emotional reimagining of Sunset Lover by Petit Biscuit - blending live saxophone, textured guitar lines, and ambient field recordings into a warm, melodic house landscape.

Built for sunset sets and introspective dance floors, the track combines tropical house roots with organic instrumentation and atmospheric sound design completely redesigned, including a ticking clock and forest ambience captured by Jayli herself. It’s both nostalgic and fresh, a track that asks a question with no easy answer, echoing in melody and space.

With its immersive tone and global flavor, “Hey, How Are You” is the first of three releases in Jayli’s new chapter, inviting listeners into a world where emotion, rhythm, and nature meet.

Black Light Disco

Black Light Disco Show 20th April 2020 -  Nick Gartland

For the Black Light Show which aired on New York's www.myhouseradio.fm we had a residents special with another exceptional team up between Dirty Old Vinyl and Goz who, as always produce the goods (and then some). The first hour kicks off with Dirty Old Vinyl weaving a web of downtempo colours and displaying their trademark knack of finding the sweetest spot with their selections. For the second hour, Goz motors through the gears, building up those high mountain peaks caressing the disco stratosphere. it was, on all fronts a classic two hours of Black Light Disco!

Effortlessly taking the reins from DJ Kongisto, Ernst Next's new mix is still about delivering the types of sounds you'd come to expect from a good ol' South African Christmas - it's all about playing music that we traditionally love listening to around this time of year. 

Ernst says: '2020 has been an immense year full of trials and tribulations. With this mix, I focused on an overall uplifting sound, but one with a few reminders of what a year it's been. I had a lot of fun making this mix, and I hope you enjoy it'.

Ernst Next X Slow Mo Lounge (Festive Disco Edition)

The Black Light Disco show airs exclusively on the #1 house music station on the planet - myhouseradio.fm. Tune in every Monday from 2pm-4pm EST, 7pm-4pm GMT, 8pm-10pm CET. 

The idea of Black Light Disco became a real thing when a few like-minded DJs and producers came together to put on a night showcasing the very best in disco, house and funk and everything in between. Our ethos is based around a very simple concept: GOOD MUSIC, GOOD TIMES with GOOD PEOPLE. We announced ourselves on a gorgeous sunny Saturday in June 2019 with an all day and night party in Liverpool’s thriving Baltic Triangle area. It was the start of something very special. 

We have a solid core group of musical talent residing in BLD Towers hailing from England, Scotland, Wales, Northen Ireland and Italy -  providing perfectly cooked grooves and juicy basslines. 

The BLD team comprises of Esteban, Goz (Spin City), Pookie Knights, Cole Kutz (Opentempo.fm) De Gama and Fingerman (Hot Digits) – clocking up decades of DJ’ing and dancefloor experience between us. As individuals, the BLD team have been producing consistently high quality sets over the last few years. Now, as a collective, the aim is to make Black Light Disco THE place to promote new music and to bring you the very best in established/up-and-coming artists and producers in the sunlit uplands of sonic pleasure. 

In January 2020, we launched a weekly show on THE biggest house music FM radio station in New York, MyHouseRadio.fm (also available digitally at www.myhouseradio.fm).  The Black Light Disco Show airs every Monday exclusive to MyHouse Radio between 7pm – 9pm GMT (2pm -4pm EST), bringing you the finest in disco, funk and boogie; all delivered by our expert in-house Sonic Consultants (resident DJs) with guest mixes from the hottest producers, DJs and artists out there right now.
