Edoardo Barbi is an alias of Gledd, the label head at Saint Wax, co-owner of Radio Mundo Records and a prolific producer who hails from Italy but is based in Mexico City. For this new EP, he taps into his love of 70s church funk and classic gospel and serves up a quartet of emotionally intense cuts that each tell a unique story. They all have their own moods and subtly uplifting grooves and are defined by the famously meticulous production style of Gledd. When you want to make the dance floor move in a different way than usual., these four cuts should be your go-to.

I believe the only path forward is to stop blaming each other for the despicable acts of the people in power. I have hope that we can have compassion for one another regardless of where we were born or what religion we believe in.
I have discovered this peace and love connection on the dancefloor. People of all ethnicities and beliefs dancing together as one. That is why I am so heartbroken for the innocent victims that were terrorized at the Nova Festival...but that is no excuse to give up on LOVE or to give up on PEACE.

Edoardo Barbi or GLEDD is an Italian DJ, producer, and label head whose music fuses disco, funk, soul, afro and latin grooves into warm, organic house. With deep family roots in music - his grandfather was a jazz musician - GLEDD grew up surrounded by soul, rock, and electronic sounds that shaped his eclectic style. After spending several years in Mexico City, where he launched the Makonga party series, he returned to Europe, continuing to expand his global vision. He is the founder of Saint Wax, co-owner of Radio Mundo Records, and a curator of grooves that balances retro vibes with fresh energy. His releases include the soulful Behind a Cloud EP (2021), the gospel tinged Get Back EP (2024), and recent singles Idinga and No Fight for Us (2025). Known for his meticulous yet instinctive production, GLEDD blends acoustic instruments, vintage-inspired textures, and contemporary rhythms, always guided by a simple ethos: play what feels right. GLEDD is without question cementing a reputation as a boundary-pushing artist redefining modern house.
