Black Light Disco burst back onto the My House Radio airwaves on 1st March with another Circus of Disco Delights to brighten the Monday malaise. 

Our Ringmaster for this one is BLD resident Ste Hendry (aka Esteban) who was twiddling his tailcoat and ramping up the hyperbole for the biggest, most amazing spectacular Disco show on earth. 

Expect funky trapeze acts and acrobats for the first hour. No clowns allowed though! 

In the guest seat for this one is a multi-label owner, producer, DJ and music making machine from Moscow, the supremely talented and tireless Igor Gonya! 

Igor’s labels have been putting out quality tunes for quite some time now on both vinyl and digital formats. Lisztomania Records, See-Saw and Sundries have been releasing disco and deep house at a relentless pace. Releases in 2020 included tracks and EPs on big hitters like Tropical Disco, Mango Sounds and Super Spicy Records whilst 2021.

We’ve been huge fans of Igor’s work for ages and we couldn’t be happier to have him make his full debut on Black Light Disco. This comes with a full guarantee of good time shenanigans, and we’d love you to join us.

The Black Light Disco show airs exclusively on the #1 house music station on the planet - myhouseradio.fm. Tune in every Monday from 2pm-4pm EST, 7pm-4pm GMT, 8pm-10pm CET. 

The idea of Black Light Disco became a real thing when a few like-minded DJs and producers came together to put on a night showcasing the very best in disco, house and funk and everything in between. Our ethos is based around a very simple concept: GOOD MUSIC, GOOD TIMES with GOOD PEOPLE. We announced ourselves on a gorgeous sunny Saturday in June 2019 with an all day and night party in Liverpool’s thriving Baltic Triangle area. It was the start of something very special. 

We have a solid core group of musical talent residing in BLD Towers hailing from England, Scotland, Wales, Northen Ireland and Italy -  providing perfectly cooked grooves and juicy basslines. 

The BLD team comprises of Esteban, Goz (Spin City), Pookie Knights, Cole Kutz (Opentempo.fm) De Gama and Fingerman (Hot Digits) – clocking up decades of DJ’ing and dancefloor experience between us. As individuals, the BLD team have been producing consistently high quality sets over the last few years. Now, as a collective, the aim is to make Black Light Disco THE place to promote new music and to bring you the very best in established/up-and-coming artists and producers in the sunlit uplands of sonic pleasure. 

In January 2020, we launched a weekly show on THE biggest house music FM radio station in New York, MyHouseRadio.fm (also available digitally at www.myhouseradio.fm).  The Black Light Disco Show airs every Monday exclusive to MyHouse Radio between 7pm – 9pm GMT (2pm -4pm EST), bringing you the finest in disco, funk and boogie; all delivered by our expert in-house Sonic Consultants (resident DJs) with guest mixes from the hottest producers, DJs and artists out there right now.
