The Black Light Disco Show festoons the My House Radio airwaves with donking, fonking protoplasm - seeping out of your speakers and causing a slip hazard.  

This week, Pookie Knights enter the BLD Towers Ball Room for their pre-summer warm up and this week they’ve only gone and brought a special guest with them! 

The lads have smuggled Ben-Banjo Field into the BLD Ball Room in a purpose build suitcase to get him past the ever vigilant Towers Security. Ben is a friend of the show and is also the head honcho at The Discography Lessons - a record label aimed at raising money for mental health causes through the power of music. Ben will be taking us through the first hour with a gloriously summery mix full to the brim of good time tunes. 

For the second hour the Pookie Knights boys take to the decks - bringing a Nerf Gun and Super-Soaker to the outdoor party and giving zero f***s about who they aim them at. Lots of bass, wonkyness and special Pookie love awaits with the likes of Da Lukas, Jungle Fire and J.B. Boogie to name but a few cameos!

His passion for House music makes his sound very current, Carlos  is also working on some interesting production projects of diferent labels.

The Black Light Disco show airs exclusively on the #1 house music station on the planet - myhouseradio.fm. Tune in every Monday from 2pm-4pm EST, 7pm-4pm GMT, 8pm-10pm CET. 

The idea of Black Light Disco became a real thing when a few like-minded DJs and producers came together to put on a night showcasing the very best in disco, house and funk and everything in between. Our ethos is based around a very simple concept: GOOD MUSIC, GOOD TIMES with GOOD PEOPLE. We announced ourselves on a gorgeous sunny Saturday in June 2019 with an all day and night party in Liverpool’s thriving Baltic Triangle area. It was the start of something very special. 

We have a solid core group of musical talent residing in BLD Towers hailing from England, Scotland, Wales, Northen Ireland and Italy -  providing perfectly cooked grooves and juicy basslines. 

The BLD team comprises of Esteban, Goz (Spin City), Pookie Knights, Cole Kutz (Opentempo.fm) De Gama and Fingerman (Hot Digits) – clocking up decades of DJ’ing and dancefloor experience between us. As individuals, the BLD team have been producing consistently high quality sets over the last few years. Now, as a collective, the aim is to make Black Light Disco THE place to promote new music and to bring you the very best in established/up-and-coming artists and producers in the sunlit uplands of sonic pleasure. 

In January 2020, we launched a weekly show on THE biggest house music FM radio station in New York, MyHouseRadio.fm (also available digitally at www.myhouseradio.fm).  The Black Light Disco Show airs every Monday exclusive to MyHouse Radio between 7pm – 9pm GMT (2pm -4pm EST), bringing you the finest in disco, funk and boogie; all delivered by our expert in-house Sonic Consultants (resident DJs) with guest mixes from the hottest producers, DJs and artists out there right now.
