Solitude

Bleak Fandango are three old Swiss punks, creating music out of passion. We don't want to actually achieve anything major with this. There is no need for anyone to listen to it. Without the music we would be empty. Essentially it's all just for us. If anyone else likes it, that's a bonus.

There is three of us: daniele on the drums, steff on the bass and ramon on the guitar and vocals. Songs are mostly written by ramon, and rewritten over longer periods of time in the rehersal room. Tracks that sound simple actually more often than not have experienced a great deal of reshaping, until we all like them. The band is based in Basel, Switzerland.

The present project was a labour of love by Matthias and Alain from the group Sheila She Loves You. They liked our sound, and essentially recorded everything for the price of a couple of microphones. The aim was not to make us sound elegant and refined, but to carry over the intense rehersal room atmosphere we have when we are jamming. It is garage music in the truest of senses.
