Hard to put a finger on this one. Bit of a dream to get lost in. No peaks and troughs really, just perpetual sequences, rhythms and even words filtering in and out. Joe’s always had a unique approach to djing, where the way things are done is just as important, if not more, than what’s being done. Despite calling the mix ‘off the cuff’, the guy’s seemingly got some backlog of ideas. Here's one, or several.

As well as a Freerotation mainstay, Joe is the other half behind the enigmatic UntilMyHeartStops label. It’s been quiet for a few years but what’s out there is worth your time and timeless in itself. Check it. @untilmyheartstops

Tom aka Sub Basics has been humbly putting music into the world via Temple of Sound , Modern Hypnosis and more, for the last few years.  Personally, when I first discovered his tunes a while back, it was a no brainer to work with him on an EP. His  music somehow sits at the perfect junction of so many different genres, moods and styles I enjoy. A versatile and prolific producer. Super happy to welcome him to the Animalia family.

N.M.O. are drummer and producer Morten Joh and synthesist Rubén Patiño. They have released previously on labels such as Diagonal, The Death of Rave and most recently their three-track 12” on Gang Of Ducks. Their experimental take on club music is replicated in their Bleep mix, which travels through a range of sonics, some being cutting edge rave fare and some just pleasing real world sounds such as rally cars and trotting horses.

With a history of playing as far afield as Tokyo to Tunisia, Mexico to Melbourne, New York or the Netherlands, Demuja has also had releases on labels including Freerange Records, Toy Tonics, Food Music, Traxx Underground, Shall Not Fade and many more, as well as running his own imprint MUJA records.

This weeks is a brand new and fresh set is created by K4MMERER. This almost 3h set contains only tracks created by him.  A diversity of genres and sounds making this a good representation of his discography.

About K4MMERER: 

Hooked on electronic music since heard an early EP by Depeche Mode in London in the eighties. Played piano/keyboard for many years but started producing about 10 years ago. A long-held fascination with science fiction and especially the question of how human kind (or a product thereof) eventually will leave the Earth is inspiration for this ambient 3-album-series named “On why dark goes orange”. These albums blend electronic instruments and contemporary influences to produce a “merge” of synthetic and authentic sounds. Very much like how the future will be, most likely ;-)
