Marc Carbone is the official name behind Dj Carbo. Carbo started his dj-career with the first parties in '99! A few small parties became quickly bigger 'underground' events mostly between 2002 and 2010! For years he had a beautiful residency at theZoo Club Hasselt and he played in most of Belgian clubs and neighbouring countries. After 2012 Carbo started traveling a lot and so he played on techno festivals in Australia and Burma while backpacking. After this beautiful travel experience he decided to move to Ghent and started a family. After some quiet years he decided to pick up the scene again. Since 2016 he had several smaller gigs and a residency in a hip place called 'Videos' Ghent. In 2019 Carbo started producing a lot again with also extra courses by professional and well-known Techno lover Steve Redhead. It didn't take long or Silhouet Records was born. A brand new label that stands for the deeper music better known as "Melodic House & Techno" !!

Carbo is a vibrant energetic DJ always knowing to please the crowd, to lead them on an adventure never knowing what record to expect next. He will take you on a journey from progressive floating sounds of melodic house to techno but also he can definately do the harder work of Acid, distorted basslines of the infamous TB303 and lot's of pumping kicks. He is also very skilled in promoting events, owner of concepts like Recoded Acid Area, Braincrash, Techno Area and Noah's Arc. With many headliners during the years. In group, Carbo together with DavidGneo, called Metacid they have a very respected label "Braincrashed Records" sold up to 3000 records of 12" vinyl. And in 2020 Carbo started solo the deeper sound in techno and melody under the name Silhouet Records. The logo is the head of his son designed in a silhouette vector. Live your life good & stay tuned! Ciao!!

Metacid is the cooperation between David Gneo and Marc Carbone better known as dj Carbo. For years known of the AcidArea and Braincrash parties. 

The synergy of two experienced dj's will result in a variety of styles. From Oldschool Acid and Acidhouse to the harder work, acidcore and tekno. They are also influenced by the great Detroit sound. 

For a dj-set they always play together as Metacid but they can also perform as Metacid LIVE to bring their own productions at the stage. 
Their label Braincrashed Records was founded in 2009 with the first E.P. called Anarchy. This one is worldwide distributed and almost sold out ! 
After a great selling report quickly came the second, third, fourth and fifth release. Featuring artists like Hardfloor, Queaver, Stanny Franssen, Franky Jones. Nowadays Braincrashed is considered as a respected Acid-Techno label with very strong productions, belief in the music, great comments from all Europe and demands for remixes and releases coming up.

Their two characters, musical preferences and their importance of the musical roots and traditions make Metacid different. They produce a modern sound with a lot of percussion and they will always keep the Acid (alive) in a pure and original form.
