Stop everything you are doing. Royalty has come to bless us. After doing a ballistic remix two years ago, it was time for Badsista to land on TraTraTrax with their own EP.

Today we present GUETO CLUB, an expedition that connects Rafa's experience with their freshest Brazilian influences, mainly from their travels between Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. What's the result? Three gifts, three 4x4 cuts with super tight percussions plus driven sequences with hypnotically distilled baile funk reminiscences.

This time, on remix duties, only boss affairs. We commission tools of the first order. The G of Principe, DJ Marfox delivers a version that grooves with bubbling kuduro visiting baile de favela vocals. While the G of Timedance, Batu, also deconstructs VEM PRA ZONA LESTE into a supra classy version that will sit perfectly on your build-up section.

Our protégé Entrañas, one of Ecuador's up-and-coming artists, returns home with his first solo EP. ‘Yapa’ is an exploration of the frontiers of global club music, blending unique Latin American rhythms and flavours with classic electronic music sounds. Drawing from Ecuador’s rich cultural heritage, these three tracks provide the closest approximation to what we might call Latin Bass.

The remixes add a sharp and multifaceted energy that will resonate both in and out of the club. First, upsammy delivers her purest version in the territory (80 — 90 bpm) that has established her as one of the finest DJs and producers of the moment. Additionally, we decided to feature two of our favourite techno acts of the moment, Fireground and 1morning, who deliver exhilarating, hard-groove reminiscent breakneck reinterpretations of good late 90s — early 2000s iconic sound.

Coffintexts makes it a perfect hat-trick with her third release for Clasico – a submarine-deep pair of tracks from our regular Miami correspondent.

A sequel of sorts to last autumn’s ‘Todo Mi Cuerpo’ / ’88 ST’, these new tracks dial down the tempo but turn up the atmosphere. “It’s deeper, and dreamier than the last two tracks I released on Clasico,” she says. “Felt right to follow up with something along those lines.”

A-side ‘Mas Fina’ steps out with dubbed-out vocals, sonar bleeps and stuttering snares - club music for the bottom of the ocean, or at least for that moment in the night when everything feels a bit detached from gravity. It’s one of those tracks that feels simple on the surface, but reveals extra detail and submerged layers with every play.

B-side ‘Vamos Al Club’ ups the pressure: it’s Coffintexts in pumper mode again, with pitch-shifted hats, cheeky woodblocks and a wriggling bassline made for fogged-out rooms. Vocals come from fellow Miami resident Le Poodle. “I made the beat first, then reached out to Natalie to see if she had any vocals lying around. I chopped up some of the recordings she sent, and boom – it sat perfectly on the beat. Love her voice.”

The pair first crossed paths through mutual friends Paperwater back in 2017. At the time, Alex and some other local artists would pull all-nighters in Airbnbs and studios around Miami for makeshift writing and beat sessions – and you can hear that ease and chemistry woven into these tracks.

As for where these tracks belong? “Like 4-5am in a medium fogged out room – could be a club, a house party, even a Getty" (that's a get-together for the uninitiated). "Everything washed in a soft red light. Everyone’s still dancing, it’s that in-between moment where the night’s turning into morning.”

“These two beats are meant to capture a feeling. A moment that felt right in the studio. I’m excited to share it, and see how it connects with people.”

After acclaimed edits and remixes in recent years, we've decided to sign what we consider to be Colombia's most exciting new talent: Brenda. The Bogotá-based artist presents "Húmedo", a three-track EP that brings together and consolidates high design, playful melodies, and sharp percussion that strongly collides UK and Colombia’s sound influences. In short, a great example of the current state of the Sur América bass technology.

This time there are no remixes, but on A1, the single we're releasing today before the full EP comes out on August 22nd, there's a stellar Colombian collaboration. After the celebrated "Ronaldinho hace la elástica" and a remix for Dengue Dengue Dengue & Prisma, Verraco returns to the label to inject his gnarly FM synthesis and meticulous design into "Rápido & Lento ;)".
