For the eleventh installment in the Blendits Audio series, frequent collaborators ''@Mindmapper'' & ''@Silvahfonk'' are returning to the Rotterdam based imprint with their strapping ''Absolution EP''. 

The A-side effort ''Absolution'' evidently showcases the incidental duo's production skill in which the unyielding beats collide nicely with the live guitar licks and mechanical sound effects that occur throughout. 

The EP is set to be released near the end of November on  12'' vinyl + download card. Hope you like the sounds!

Philth returns to Dispatch for 2016, with a 2nd EP entitled ‘The Circle’ to follow up last year’s ‘Cosmos’. Developing his journey and continuing to impress, it cements his status as one of the key up-comers to watch in D&B this year.

Harboring a lethal groove amongst tightly crafted drums and relentless lows, Philth keeps us intrigued through the chaos. With dark soundscapes and carefully chosen samples, the intensity levels remain high, but energy is retained consistently, without ever losing momentum.

His debut track on Dispatch ‘Your Love’ receives a huge rework from SCAR to lead the EP, plus a fresh 2016 remaster, whilst dancefloor pick ‘Yeti’ joins two collaborations; a shadow stepper with Kolectiv & Bredren and infectious title track ‘The Circle’ alongside Wreckless.

Dispatch Recordings proudly present ‘Dreamland’ – the 2nd solo album from Bristol based DLR.

Continuing where his 2015 debut ‘Seeing Sounds’ left off, ‘Dreamland’ is an album concept that reflects on the world today. Encouraging people to challenge the barriers and comfort zones we blissfully exist within, DLR seeks to resist the inadequate reality we are sleepwalking into; an inherently greed based system, where numbers govern art and culture, whilst popularity determines the success of social causes, as issues are picked up and dropped in the blink of an eye.

Musically, the album is honest, straight up and sound design focused, as DLR pays homage to the older styles of DnB, building on the genre’s core principles, writing his own chapter in Bristol’s long running heritage. A statement of intent towards soul and groove driven music, each track is personified by simple ideas meticulously arranged, as DLR prioritises the raw elements to enhance the groove and sub bass, allowing each aspect enough space to breathe and develop.

Note: This particular track will only be made available via our limited run of Dropcards and on the double pack full vinyl release. It won't be made available to download via usual outlets as part of the digital version of the album.

Newcomers A&P, aka Aboriginal & Phonic, explode onto the scene with their debut Expanse EP, out this spring on Lifestyle Music.

This EP sees the young London lads serve up four slices of sophisticated steppers, with a sound mature and refined for producers so new to the game. Showcasing deep and rich low end, hard-hitting kicks, tight snares and percussion, this release is one for the tech heads, and sure to thrust A+P into the dnb spotlight.

Long-time mates, Kish and Sean have (unbelievably) only been producing drum & bass for a year together, but the sounds speak for themselves, and are sure to bolster arsenals and destroy dancefloors with immediate effect.

We are stoked to announce the return of a couple of Lifestyle veterans to the catalogue, Bristol boys Ill Truth have served up another piping hot serving of drum & bass for you lot to get stuck into. Few may know this, but Jay and Haden’s debut release as Ill Truth actually came out on our label.. Almost three years ago they touched down with Hivemind // The Realist and started their journey as the duo, and what a trajectory! 

Producing out of Bristol, their music has sent them worldwide, and they’ve become of the most important & current acts in their city’s scene. With releases spanning some of dnb’s most seminal labels such as Shogun & Dispatch, and a recent stellar release on CIA, it’s hard to find a corner of the scene as yet untouched by these two incredibly hard-working producer DJs.

Which is why we couldn’t be happier that they’ve hit us up with the fire, their first original release with the label since last summer’s collab on Creatures debut EP! Two slices of rowdy, bassy dancefloor music, with the unmistakable Ill Truth sound. They’ve taking it all the way back to their roots with a VIP of The Realist off their first ever release, so this is a special one for the label and for the boys. Get it down ya. 

‘Eazy Rider’ sees the boys team up with Bluejay for a heavy cut of deep tech. Built around a driving, snappy break, the tune foregrounds a slick and minimal bass groove, with mid-range wobbles and accents peppered throughout. A mature sound from the lads, this one sits nicely between heavy dancefloor music and head-nodding minimal dnb. 

The Realist VIP is a different story, an absolute shoe thrower of a tune. Originally a moody half-time track, the VIP absolutely flips it on it’s head, crafting it into a big, stinky, rave tune. Subtlety is thrown out the window, and instead you get hit with funked-out, beautifully constructed reese riffs, delivered via a big, banging break. Insanely danceable and super-catchy, this ones built for robust trainers and telling strangers in the dance to fuck off.
