Opulent Temple's  13th Annual Sacred Dance 'white party' was mobile this year, since we decided to take a break from doing a sound camp.  We teamed up with the Bounce crew from Santa Cruz and a bunch of other participating art cars for an open playa party near the Flaming Lotus Girls' Serpent Mother.  I had planned this set musically in 2 distinct 45 minute sets as we were supposed to move to a different spot half way through, and I knew the dance floor would have to reset when we stopped again.  We ended up being so packed in with people and bikes that moving was unpractical and unsafe so there we stayed all night.

As they should be, this playa set is a quintessential musical representation of my taste range of the moment.  Starting with super dance floor friendly, sexy groovy ghetto nu-disco, then getting heady mid way, to transition into some proper bassline techno and tech funk break beat, and back into some slowed down feel good closers to set up the hand off to OT resident Grammar who was on after me.   With Carl Cox and then Diplo joining the other OT residents, it was a magical night, just as we hoped it would be.
