Born in Atlanta and raised in Nigeria, Ayo is no stranger to the concept of surprises. She has had the opportunity to perform with some of the biggest names in music like Chance the rapper, Andra Day, Common, Solange and MORE. However, she is no stranger to the realities and turmoil of being a black woman in America. Despite her challenges navigating life as a young Nigerian woman in today’s society, Ayo has chosen to use her experiences to define her music. Currently residing in Baltimore Maryland, Ayo writes fearlessly and confidently knowing that every lyric and every performance will transform the world one life at a time.
