After taking a 2-year hiatus from 1994-1996 to listen to Tom Chapin and Raffi, I reverted to my personal taste: alternative and classic rock.  My kids were raised on the best: Weezer, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, Beatles, and Green Day!

We Are Forever, consisting of Aren Andersen (singer), Alex Nauth (bass/singer), Ricky Ayala (guitarist/vocals), Chris Cain (lead guitarist), and Alex “Peewee” Ayala (drums), formed in December 2010, as a pop/rock band based out of the Indianapolis area. 

The boys released their first demo, consisting of three songs in November of 2011. They continued to play live shows in the greater Indy area with national acts. In June of 2012, they released their first album, “Seasons” while touring. During their tour, they played various venues in Missouri, Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Tennessee, Florida, Alabama, North Carolina, Illinois, and Ohio. Following the tour, they continued playing shows in Indy while working on original songs for their next full-length album to be recorded at The Lodge Recording Studios in the spring of 2013. 

In December of 2012, they went into the Lodge and recorded their cover, “Lights”, by Ellie Goulding. The cover received over 40,000 hits between the end December and March. Well known YouTube interviewer, Bryan Stars, and BlankTV featured it on their channels, and many viewers remarked that they enjoyed WAF’s “Lights” even more than the original. 

We Are Forever recently won a competition held by video director, Adam Shewmaker, to film a second music video, using their original song called “Take My Hand”, from their first album, “Seasons”. They will also be recording their 2nd album of original tunes in the spring of 2013, to be released to the public in June of 2013. Make sure you catch the band as they tour again this summer and beyond.
