Let's All Stay In Tonight is not so much a rejection of the nightlife, but an endorsement of the indoors. It is a 'call to couch' for those of us who enjoy cheese plates, early evenings and small groups of people. It is, however, still important to get out sometimes. Going to a Blimp Rock Powerpoint Presentation, for example, is a perfectly understandable reason to leave one's home.

My Mind Is A Shark is a tribute to those of us who have busy brains. Whether your head is filled with to do-list items, social media statuses or blimp specifications, it's safe to say there are no shortage of ways for things to get crowded in the ole' noggin. Blimp Rock invites you to add yet another thing to the pile while hoping that it somehow helps lighten the load.

Being a venture capital band, it is important that we make every effort to cash-in on the #BlueJays hype.

You see, not to inflate our own airship, but not only did we predict the Blue Jays success in more ways than one, we invented their slogan.

In our song "Oh, Baseball", written and recorded in 2012, a few lines make this blimpantly clear: 

1. "That doesn't mean there won't be another Joe" - clearly a reference to Joey Bats Jose Bautista​ being the new Joe Carter​.

2. "Oh, baseball" - Definitely what everyone was thinking after that 7th inning last night. 

3. "And the people they #ComeTogether" Yes, the chorus of our song (recorded in 2012!) has now become the Toronto Blue Jays​ slogan. All we ask is a modest $700 000 worth of royalties. Please make the cheque out to Blimp Rock Enterprises.

And of course, let's go Blue Jays.

a duet between Blimp Rock’s lead singer Peter Demakos and theoretical physicist Drew Jamieson. It pits the “up in the clouds” worldview of Demakos’ against Jamieson’s confidence in the scientific method.
