hello!  i'm Kat but you can call me Miaow, like my cat does....  i'm a singer/songwriter/musician/music-lover from Scotland and have been all my life.  this is my first solo project.  my debut album, Year Zero, which is out on all digital platforms.

P.S.k.L aka DJ Kill teve seu primeiro contato com a música eletrônica em 2011, através da Banda Hypnotzion, que teve algumas apresentações na Ecologic e Universo Parallelo, festas e Festivais de psytrance aonde teve contato com djs e iniciou seu contato com a CDJ, começando a praticar as técnicas de mixagem, aprimoramento e conhecimento da música e cultura psytrance, no qual o levou a lançar seu Projeto (kill); tendo um gosto peculiar pelas melodias, Quick Bass e uma percussividade do Prog Dark, tendo em seus sets músicas com uma atmosfera orgânica, melodias dançantes e psicodélicas, ritmos, experimental, percussivo e minimalista, kill DJ set toca Progressive Dark, uma vertente dentro do psytrance com ambiente noturno e diurno, com elementos da natureza de atmosfera obscura e dançante, com uma sonoridade bem percussiva e melódica, com harmonia de portais universais nos levando a entrar em transe e liberando sentimentos ancestrais rítmicos e ritualístico.

Julian Jansen aka Uranium Mind, discovered Trance/Electronica at the age of eleven, stumbling upon his first trance album, this was the beginning of a love affair bound by the power and mysticism of trance. Subsiding in years of intent listening to the progressions and sounds of many genres’ Uranium Mind was born. Known for his strong foundations in Psychedelic and Progressive Trance, Uranium brings a cutting edge journey through a radiating expanse of electronica from driving night time basslines to intrinsically woven sets of soulful euphoria. 

As an Artist Uranium has sparked interest in more ways than one, his desire to express his diversity of musicality has always been at the forefront of his project. With a unique sense of style that is intrinsically personal to his character and artistic approach. You can expect a journey that deeply reflects the man behind the project whether it be somewhere between a tough and edgy night time psychedelic set to a blissful ethereal tech/trance earthy extravaganza, Uranium Mind is artist worth keeping a close eye on.  

In recent times Uranium has been playing out across Australia with tracks such as “Never Mind the Waking World”, “The Pyramid” and “We are One” helping him to land sets alongside acts such as “Vini Vici” at Colour of Sound, playing Dragon Dreaming Festival (ACT) eclectic New Year’s Eve sets at Tanglewood Vic, bringing the Sunrise at Rainbow Serpent Festival 2017 and recently “Where the Wild Things Are” among many other of Australia’s favourite electronic music festivals and indoor parties. 

2019 has seen Uranium Mind deliver his second EP 'Gods of the Underworld', a carefully crafted arrangement of full power Psy/Progressive. Bound in deep atmospheres, hypnotic basslines, melodic grooves progressive scores and a sure sense of journey through transcendental states. Uranium revels in the development of his new productions, a keen sense of direction and focus has launched him toward a heavier more driving selection of tracks that have cemented him within the progressive night time arena. With more productions currently underway expect to see more releases from the talented artist in 2019.

So as one of Melbourne's up and coming Artists, be sure to keep your ear to the floor, for the unique sound that is Uranium Mind.
