One Eye Witness record label, vinyl distributor and webshop releases their second in-house EP with a new imprint. The label's mantra is to always seek for new horizons and maintain an intrinsic lack of musical ideology. For this new record, they've decided to reunite four talents "whose shared ambition is to write the future of club music," as they said. Uruguayan producer Z@P, now based in Berlin, takes the lead of the A2 with 'YFM'. Recorded in the early days of lockdown in 2020, the track is a moody and gutsy piece reaching for dark places. It has a kind of techno atmosphere combined with a soft BPM, but what makes it special is surely the subtle pad touches slipped between the beats of the powerhouse bass. Simple but very efficient, YFM delivers an intense nocturnal vibe as a call of an army of dancer ready to linger on the dancefloor. His touch can be heard on a wide range of records on his own labels and other respected imprints that include Partisan and Pachinko with countless others in the works. With his BinarySound already being over 10 years deep his influence in the Euro community cannot be overstated enough. 

Having been on our radar for some time we are thrilled to finally present his mix for our InSession series. Throughout the hour-long run time Antoine draws on his French house roots and packages this neatly alongside his own electro moods and disco flecked elements. The result is a funk filled journey through the sounds that ignite the dancefloor when Antoine is at the controls. One for the sunkissed sessions that this talented selector is often charged with blowing up.

PREMIERE – Nackley – Sublime Desolation (Bordello A Parigi)

Music possesses an incredible ability to transform raw emotion into an expansive array of expression. Nackley knows this ideation well. Having spent years working behind the scenes as an agent, Bordello’s latest discovery now steps fully into the spotlight with Anger Management, channeling the turbulence of transition into sound.

Cathartic and charged compositions are at the heart of this four-track release. Acid-dipped keys are both delicate and direct in the driving highs of Return of the Gecko, a track pulsing with raw energy. The crueler side of the music industry isn’t so much parodied here as it is dismissed entirely—Nackley lets the music do the talking. Sublime Desolation is pure dancefloor dynamite, where synth sirens detonate and explosive rhythm commands movement.

Been A Long Time arrives dripping in attitude. Breaks and a juddering bassline face off with a hustling 303 hook, harmonies weaving through deep sonic textures. A renewed confidence courses through the release as Nackley explores a range of styles, closing with the synth romance of Heartbreaker—an addictive blend of keyboards, guitar strings, and enveloping vocals are the emotive ingredients of this tear-streaked work of 1980s-inspired joy.
And joy is exactly what Anger Management delivers—a healing triumph and a bold debut declaration from a rising talent.

For its ninth release, Sentaku turns to the enigmatic figure of Tsukuyomi, the moon god of Japanese mythology, whose presence embodies mystery and solitude. Crafted by Mirko Felicioli, this EP dives into shadowy realms where deep, emotive undercurrents meet raw, underground energy.

The record opens with Tsukuyomi, a mesmerizing blend of atmospheric depth and pulsating momentum, drawing listeners into its nocturnal spell. Analong Time follows with a stripped-back yet intricate groove, fusing hypnotic loops with a sharp, electro-infused edge. On the flip side, Air Felix injects a futuristic vibrancy, its crisp drum patterns and fluid synth work creating an expansive, weightless feel. Rounding off the journey, Fantasy channels an ethereal, dreamlike energy while maintaining a driving intensity that lingers long after the last beat.

Butter Side Up Records strides into 2021 with an essential new EP from long time label friend Youandewan. The four tracker follows his remix on BSU001 and is a spaced out house trip into the next dimension with original artwork by Sophie Doulala. 

Berlin based Ewan Smith has matured into an assured sonic explorer over recent years. He heads up his own The Brane, Small Hours and Pure Shores labels, has close ties to various other cult outlets and is a core part of a cutting edge crew who explore the intersection between house, breaks, techno and electro with a real futuristic bent. This new EP was made purely on various analogue grooveboxes, and was then recorded live to cassette without going anywhere near a computer, and it shows in the nicely frayed edges and lived-in sounds throughout the EP. 

Opener 'Thyme Capsules' is a bumpy yet seductive house groove with tropical steel drum sounds bringing the party vibes next to the turbocharged bassline. 'Beyond My Ken' layers up sci-fi details and more brilliantly dynamic drum programming to make for a playful workout full of otherworldly colour. Things get deep and driving on 'Scissor Juice' with its warm, balmy pads and old school synth leads, then finally 'Slow Down' Feat. Art Feynman zones you out with achingly soulful female vocals drifting in and out of the mix next to a perfectly smooth bassline. These are four hugely characterful cuts that pack plenty of punch.
