The Windmill Of Your Mind

An adaptation of "Les Feuilles Mortes", originally composed by Joseph Kosma and lyrics by French surrealist poet Jacques Prévert. The (more popular)English version is called "Autumn Leaves" and is a Jazz standard made famous by, among others, Nat King Cole. 

Most Jazz fusion with Indian classical music tends to center around the Indian side, with the Jazz arrangement being an accompaniment. This is an attempt to do the reverse. The violin tries to embellish the main melody with improvisation in the Harmonic minor (Keeravani).

Thanks for listening to my music. I'm in the music scene for more than 50 years now, played thousands of gigs and released 15 albums. Never made it to the big stage, always a musicians musician, just a nicer word for having no success. Never been into mainstream music, love people like Leonard Cohen or Tom Waits, outsiders who defined an own musicology.
