When I created the track I kind of had the movie "Big trouble in little China" in my head but it's actually a coincidence that the title includes the year that the movie actually was released though. The year 1986 is more connected to the synth music era that was around that time.

Expanded version of Blink Twice's 2nd album (originally released 1998), with bonus never before released material from 2000-2003

"Newer Unknown Breeds" was at the time a further development in sound for Blink Twice. The album expanded on the techno and electro genre much more than Blink Twice's debut "Other Locations". There was an increase usage of sampling on this collection of material, often with looped effects incorporated to add further density. With the blend of tribal and industrial elements remaining, it serves as an adventurous concoction of experimental rhythmic and darker ambient electronic music.
