NEPTUNALIA, a festival of Neptune, celebrated at Rome, of which
very little is known. The day on which it was held, was probably the 23rd
of July. The festival was celebrated with games. Respecting the ceremonies
of this festival nothing is known, except that the people used to build
huts of branches and foliage, in which they probably feasted, drank, and
amused themselves.

About the album
Are you ready for magic? The master musicians Daniel Carter, Matthew Shipp, William Parker and Gerald Cleaver will provide access with this album, the first they have released after playing together for decades. 

Daniel Carter has been collaborating with William Parker since the early 70s and with Matthew Shipp starting in the mid 80s. This trio has played together on many recordings but by adding legendary drummer Gerald Cleaver to the mix they have created a masterpiece combination; a supergroup of sorts. This all-star project is presented in two parts/LPs. This is the first volume - with volume two scheduled to be published in the near future.

Baltimore based punk outfit Dope Body is alive and kicking, again. 
After a hiatus stopped their activity from 2016 to the early months of this haunted 2020, the band came back even stronger releasing two new efforts (the homemade "Home Body", and their latest LP "Crack a Light"), stating their status as one of the most uniquely-sounding crews in modern rock 'n roll - a nice blend between The Jesus Lizard, Brainiac, and Royal Trux.
Their mix couldn't prove their nature wrong, as it develops through the pulsating fluids of mutant funk grooves, filthy and noisy garage bits, mellow calypso-dub relaxations, exp. hip-hop, and so on. 

"Crack a Light", is out now via Drag City.

Two brothers versus the machines. Clusters of Eyes debuted at Smugglers Festival 2018 and have since been inhabiting coastal Kent’s subterranean network of tunnels, honing their set of gritty electronica and robot-rock.

This latest track features guest vocals from Troy of punk/hardcore band The Long Knives.

Imagery of a dystopian post-Covid, post-Brexit landscape is set to an irrepressible groove - inspired in equal parts by The Fall’s ‘Blindness’ and Death In Vegas’ ‘Aisha’.

Featuring a musical backing that nods to Kate Bush's 'Watching You Without Me' alongside Maija Sofia's airy refrain rebutting the grim reaper - "I heard his scythe whoosh past my ear / it gets a little louder every year".
