Currently based in San Francisco, Sis Girl is building a queer underground sound through a focus on integrating multiple genres. Minimal, house, breaks, and acids inform their sound, bound by bass, streaked with lush textures and psychedelic influences. 

Originally from Pittsburgh, they are also involved with  MESH, an underground party focused on uplifting queer and marginalized voices. After their move to the bay they got involved with Kosmetik which was a weekly party at the infamous Stud bar.

But more than that I wanted to harness the energy of what Acid House was when it was first introduced to the world.… spunky, fun, euphoric, psychedelic, and with lots of attitude...This mix symbolizes this for me and represents my own personal journey through different era's as a DJ... Some of these records have been in my collection for more than two decades, while others came to me just a few days before recording. 

This mix is dedicated to my brother in beats, Marc Bartissol, aka Dull, and to the best dude ever, Chris Cavilear. Both of whom were unexpectedly taken from me last year...
