He released his highly recommended album on Artificial Domain called "Edge" and released his first vinyl EP named "An" in 2022 on Omen Wapta. This mix contains a wide spectrum of decompressed IDM & glitchy infused structures that let your emotions bow.

I’m very pleased that he participated and will be the one to guide us through his musical fascinations.

"They were wild and crazy years." The Spanish techno icon discusses his early years in Madrid, running record labels and staying true to his sound for more than 30 years.

Spanish DJ and producer Oscar Mulero is a legend of underground techno. Since starting to play parties and make music more than 30 years ago, he's earned a reputation as an anti-conformist tastemaker who's adamantly stuck to his guns. While his trajectory began with Madrid's goth and punk clubs in the '90s, he eventually found techno in the early '00s and started two labels, PoleGroup and Warm Up, as homes for the hypnotic, spaced-out sound that's become his signature. 

In this RA Exchange, Mulero reflects on the early days of the Spanish techno scene and how it's evolved, as well as his own roots and influences. Today, the artist is as active as he's ever been, he discusses how he's maintained longevity as an artist in the face of changing trend, as well as his best practices for making music at home and on the road. We’re thrilled to welcome Charlie Caves and Bardo as official residents of Técnica. Their talent, musical vision, and connection to our collective make them a perfect fit.

Bardo
Bardo is the evolution of Borvac, a new interpretation of his sound rooted in UK techno while staying true to the essence of his previous version. Based in Berlin for the past two years, he has already played in clubs across the city, including Tresor, Watergate, About Blank, and many more. An artist with a strong focus on vinyl, he is also a resident at the well-known Matriz events in Granada, Spain. Becoming a regular at Técnica parties, he has dared to explore other musical styles such as Dubstep, UK Garage, and Bass Music, taking his creativity to another level.

Charlie Caves
A DJ from Ourense, Spain, Charlie Caves began his career in Madrid, playing at venues like Siroco and Utopía before moving to Berlin. Also known as Carlos’ Life, Carlito’s Way, and METHODRONE, he’s a dedicated digger with an ever-evolving sonic identity. In Berlin, he became a regular at Técnica parties, refining his craft and expanding his musical scope. His sets weave together different styles and BPMs while maintaining a distinct and personal touch—always carrying an element of surprise.

When Charlie Caves and Bardo play together, it’s more than just music—it’s a seamless journey through sound. As two Galician souls, their b2b performances are a cascade of rhythm, emotion, and energy, challenging the dance floor with every track. Their bond, both on and off the decks, creates a space where passion flows freely, and their creativity knows no bounds. While their b2b sets are magic, we trust in both of their individual musical visions, and we’re excited to have them explore both solo and collaborative sets as residents.

Astrover is an up-and-coming artist who yields the skill to present a variety of intricate sounds and sequences. Despite his young age of 20 years, he pushes a deft touch of rhythms and has already released two solid tracks to date.

Originally from Manchester, he immersed himself in different musical facets and sets out with intent to demonstrate this through his works. In this mix, hypnotic textures are mixed with dazzling, resonant pulses. A piece of fine art with blissful, atmospheric techno. Enjoy.
