JammHot are a Leeds and London-based production partnership consisting of Matt Mason and Jamie Adams.

Having separately pursued their own musical ventures, the two friends decided to draw on their differing backgrounds and influences to create their own heady blend of house that’s rich in musicality and sense of adventure, yet aimed squarely towards the dancefloor.  

Perhaps inevitably given their expansive musical heritage, JammHot are always looking to the future while lacing their productions with a deep-seated affection for golden eras of the past. Though their sound continually evolves, it’s rapidly apparent there is a core ethos at work that allies irresistible rhythms to bold melodic direction.  

The past two years has seen the duo steadily build their profile with original productions and remixes on such DJ staples as Morris Audio, Leftroom and Dirt Crew, as well releasing artist EP's on Huxley’s Saints & Sonnets and Jamie Trench's Roots For Bloom Colours imprints. 

Their burgeoning reputation as must-see DJ’s has also been enhanced through their resident DJ sets at Ape-X,  one of the North’s most established house and techno nights and infamous for it's incendiary atmosphere and cutting-edge line-ups.

Pius Xulu is a gentleman's gentleman that's just in love with music. Has been in love with music from a very young age where he used to witness his uncles and father would sing to songs of love, struggle, joy, & tradition. He's always had an ear for music from that time in the 90s. He grew up in the villages of Mphaphala, Gingindlovu & Eshowe where he attended his schooling in KZN and it was when he started high school in Tugela Secondary that his love of music really matured into a direction that he understood and this was House Music. He remembers at school where he would talk with his friends of how one day they will be well known and in the House Music limelite. During the days where they took a ken interest in listening to deejays Michael G, Dj Fresh, Glen Lewis, Kanunu, BPM45 and the rest. Pius always love slow tempo as he rembers the hugely popular record "I like to move it" where I think Mdu Masilela slowed it down and it stuck in his heart for a long time.

Th elove for house music grew deeper in him where he started collecting CDs and making sure that he had the latest mid tempo CD compilation, he remembers the Skeelo & Pebbles to the Mid Tempo of Glen Lewis that really drove him crazy to fall more in love with deep house music.
