Next on The Erratic Podcast we are happy to welcome aboard a very talented, young artist who has been on our watch-list for a while, HÉCTOR OAKS. Based in Berlin by way of Madrid, he's made quite a name for himself in the last couple of years. In 2014 he joined the KEY imprint and later became part of the Unbroken Booking agency, a established collective of friends and artists from Berlin. Hector has also released superlative works on Sonntag Morgen, Quant, and Mutewax along with a slew of spectacular remixes that have been played by superstar djs around the world. At the start of this year 2016, he founded his own imprint, OAKS, with its first release being one of his strongest works yet. Sound-wise, what is unique about Hector is his uncanny sense of producing truly evoking and outstanding pieces of timeless techno. Powerful, deep, raw and emotive his sound juxtaposes classic and soulful Detroit with Berlin's modern raw and powerful sound, meanwhile infusing his trademark of authentic and enthralling melodies. In this mix for us, he delivers a seminal session full of good old, stomping techno mixed with exquisite, varied textures. BIO:
Hemka is one of the most promising djs and producers in the boiling Parisian scene. Her skills behind the decks got her sharing the stage with figures of the international Techno circuit such as Len Faki, Kobosil, Henning Baer, Lewis Fautzi, to name a few. She always impresses with the quality of her selection with a huge focus on the 90’s sonorities while keeping an eye on modern textures. Her techno is rhythmical, psychedelic and drummy, while the emotional element is ever-present. After many residencies in Paris, Hemka is now resident of Exil (parisian crew) alongside SHDW & Obscure Shape and Remco Beekwilder helping the crew rising up through Europe. She’s
playing all over France and Europe with or without her crew and her name is now spreading since she’s played in Russia. On the production side, Hemka delivers material where the sound of synthesizers is a key component. After several releases and remixes, she joined dutch label « FLOAT Records » in 2017 alongside TWR72, Tensal, PEARL and Sleeparchive with an outstanding release called « the Mystery of the black flamingo » with which she got herself her nice review on Resident Advisor and gigs in mythic clubs like Tresor and Rex Club.
In 2018, her talent got noticed by Tripeo (Darko Esser) who’s offered her a space on his purist imprint « BALANS». Indeed, she released a first EP called « 707 Collision » including remixes of Tripeo himself and a second EP called « Familiar » with 4 brand new tracks that have been played at Awakenings this year. Meanwhile, Tripeo and Hemka have built a true friendship that is driving them to a very awaited collaboration « Tripka » and have also played their first set together all night long last summer at Glazart, Paris. Furthermore, Darko keeps trusting Hemka by offering her a new slot in 2019 on BALANS with, this time, an upcoming Album of 10 tracks.
Things keep moving for Hemka since she’s got contacted by Radio Slave and will make soon her debut on his brilliant label REKIDS.

Behind the name Sept stands Warsaw based DJ, producer and live act artist, who started the project back in 2015. From the very whole begging he is involved into running Berlin based label, as an A&R - Voxnox Records. Till today he had an opportunity to perform in Austria, Czech Republic, France, Hungary, Germany, Georgia, Netherlands, Serbia, Sweden and far-off Colombia. Except his international shows, he visited all most important venues and festivals in Poland as well.

Davide Carbone, better known as D. Carbone is an Italian DJ and producer with a broad knowledge of music, proposed by his various aliases that made him collaborations and developing a strong circle of labels.

His sound can be described as Industrial, hard and fast with Acid nuances. Davide is not only active on his own and collaborative imprints like Repitch, Shapednoise or 3TH, but also on others like Mord or Ophism, releasing music and doing shows even with an experimental live aka called Honzo. Currently you can find him under the brutal 'Executioners' moniker with Noneoftheabove, which will act in Riverdale Festival this next May. On releases, he's got an upcoming remix of the legend CJ Bolland, some new originals and contributions to a few VA's on labels like Scuderia or The Above Records.

With his massive eclecticism, let's hear what he has in store for HEX.
