This is a song I wrote for a South African organisation called Funda Nenja which uplifts the lives of township dogs by giving the dogs and their young owners training. Township dogs in South Africa are notoriously marginalised, often left to fend for themselves without being fed. loved or trained in any way. This organisation is currently only working in one township, but desperately needs support to spread to all other townships in the country. I've only attended one training session, which left me in tears. Of joy and sorrow.  For this song I borrowed heavily from my song Sanbonani, and was assisted on vocals by my colleague Thembiso Sithole and the brilliant Rosa De Castro Doran.
