Bloodpine is the culmination of a 25 year musical partnership. Building off of their success in The Rockford Mules, Erik Tasa and Ryan Rud have created a sound that is rich in honesty, texture, and a rootsy ambience. It's music for those late night drives to the middle of nowhere when the radio and the headlights are your only company. Beautifully dark, mellow, soft and bittersweet....heavy music that isn't heavy.

Born and raised in Minneapolis MN, Corey Perez founding member of ic/\nc, son of hall of fame percussionist Chico Perez, grew up surrounded by world music and art.
Corey starting playing music at a very young age. Starting with piano then moving to drums, percussion, bass & vocals.
Over the years, Corey worked on developing his craft as an artist. He attended Minneapolis College of Art and Design and further developed his creativity as a visual artist working in fine art and film.
It was at that time, Corey had the vision to parlay his talents, experience, studies and lifelong pursuits into a project that would span 20 years in the making. In the mid 90’s Corey began recording live with various artists just when electronic music was exploding into the mainstream in North America. During this period, his time was spent further developing his sound and researching world cultures and metaphysical subject matter. This would go on to become the essence of his signature cross-genre sound coined as “Multi-Cultural Hip House ”. His current project is named ICANC. His music is a fusion of EDM, Future House, Trap, Ambient, Downtempo and World music. Heavy rhythms and bass with ethereal over tones mixed with world music, experiment sounds, spoken word and vocals. His sound and message take us on a journey exploring dance music, world cultures, pop culture, art and spiritual theology.
