Consisting of 21 year olds Jesse van der Heijden and Oguzhan Guney, ANOTR are an Amsterdam-based duo that have set tech-house oriented releases on labels such as Armada Music, Defected Records, and DFTD. Despite their tender age, ANOTR have played on summer festival hotspots in Ibiza, Amsterdam's ADE, and graced plenty more internationally acclaimed clubs and venues.

Frankfurt born, Berlin based DJ, producer, & composer Martin Roth first arrived in the spotlight of global underground dance music when alongside Eric Prydz and Deadmau5, he was named a Beatport Star of 2009.

Since those days, Martin has gone from strength to strength, solidifying his reputation as one of the most respected & talented artists of the underground electronic scene.

Influenced by both the classic progressive house sound of the last few decades and the deep house & electronica avant garde of today, Martin’s productions have been continually supported by the likes of Solomun, Sasha, John Digweed, Eric Prydz, Tiefschwarz, Pete Tong amongst many other leading names.

With multiple releases on major imprints such as Anjundeep, Global Underground, Armada, Perspectives Digital, and ICONYC, to name a few, Martin is equally as natural and instinctive on the decks as he is in the studio.

2020 saw the release, with widespread acclaim, of his album masterpiece ‘Analog Guy in a Digital World’ on Lunatique Records, showcasing his undeniable flare for emotive & cinematic songwriting as well as his classical piano training and tremendous depth as an artist. 

Another of these beautiful ambient compositions - ‘Love Theme’ - is now out on Anjunadeep’s Reflections Volume 2 compilation. It signifies a decade long relationship between the label & Roth, which saw his debut release back in 2010. Since then, he’s produced some of the most memorable moments in Anjunadeep’s 15 year history, including ‘Beautiful Life’, ’Hypno Seq’ and ‘Organic Cold Brewed Hipster Funk’ EPs.   

It’s a great pleasure and honour to host him as our 132nd podcast guest and we look forward to more incredible work from Martin in the coming year!

Originally hailing from Richmond, Virginia, Wassu鈥檚 deep and underground house music is influenced from his early days of playing piano and percussion. Wassu incorporates softer melodies combined with hard hitting, grooving percussive elements to allow for long, smooth journeys of dance music.

Wassu was also recently featured in Anjunadeep's 2019 Yearbook with his collaboration with Marsh, "Like You". The Yearbook consists of highlights of 2019 releases from the label and spans artists from the likes of Dosem, YOTTO, Ben Bohmer, Nox Vahn, Joseph Ray, 16Bl, Cubicolor, and more. In addition to this, Wassu's other releases on David Hohme鈥檚 Where The Heart Is, Magician On Duty, Poesie, The Purr, and Silk Music position him well for the deep and progressive scene..

Wassu has also performed alongside a roster of artists including: Grum, FEHRPLAY, Marsh, Jody Wisternoff, Martin Roth, Dee Montero, Alle Farben, Eli & Fur, David Hohme, and more. Most recently, he supported Above & Beyond for their New Years Eve event in New York City at the New York Expo Center. Further, his recent early support from the likes of James Grant, Nora En Pure, Hardwell, M.O.S., Hosini, Newman, Jan Blomqvist, and many others make Wassu a name to be on the lookout for in 2020 and beyond.

Alfonso Pomeda, better known as F-on, has been a stalwart of Madrid's underground music scene for more than two decades. Whether through his firstborn label Downbeat, whom he co-founded alongside Jose Rico and Urtzi more than a decade ago, or through his own imprint Alpenglüchen, F-on is uncompromising when it comes to the deeper sides of House, Techno, and Ambient. Alfonso's broad musical knowledge can be recognized in both his productions and DJ sets, where he flawlessly blends contemporary, forward-thinking electronic music with elements from the turn of the century.

Bio :

My name is Lukas Schwarz and I live in a small village in Austria.
I've been interested in music since childhood. I played drums for 8 years and played in a large orchestra.
after a while i decided to stop.
I did not want to anymore.

After a long period of standstill and exploring various musical styles, I decided from my experience of music to do something of my own.
i learned to love, feel and understand electronic music.
I was always fascinated by emotional, melancholic atmospheres, but also danceable deep mood often makes me blossom.
I wavered a long time with my productions. finally I was accepted into the dubtechno family, where I released an ep named „changes in the matrix“ with two artists and now good friends.

so i slid more and more into the depths of the music and i just clung to deep atmospheric sounds that excited me and the listener. i have released much music on this point.
„deep structures“ „10,32 Kelvin“ „drafted love“ and much more of singles and productions on Various artists albums.

but i didn't want to belong to any fixed genre.
I did this and that. Sometimes ambient, sometimes dubtechno and sometimes something of my own.

so I decided to be free.
I just decided to do what I love and want to produce.

because it is difficult to remain steadfast in this world full of music and to make a decision.

I remain true to my inner voice and will follow my dark emotional streak as far as possible.

In unserem Interview erzählte Sie uns von ihrem Lebenstraum in ferne Länder zu reisen. Aktuell hat Sie jedoch noch mit ihrer Angst vor Spinnen zu kämpfen, die Ihre Reiselust etwas schmälert. Schon bald, wenn Sie ihr Erspartes zusammen hat, will sie jedoch allen Mut zusammennehmen und den kleinen Achtbeinern die Stirn bieten.
Ebenso setzt sich unser heutiger Gast mit großem Engagement für Tier und Umwelt ein. "Ich wünsche mir, die Menschen würden aufwachen und etwas an ihrem Konsumverhalten ändern und nach ihrer eigentlichen Zuneigung für Tiere handeln, die ja schon bei den meisten vorhanden ist. " Zugleich möchte Sie jedoch niemandem zu nahe treten oder gar angreifen.

Growing up in a musical family, Anna was exposed to various music genres from a very early age. Her influences stem from various styles including her fathers art rock band. Whilst on a trip to south Germany, some friends introduced her to exotic new electronic sounds which revealed how diverse techno can be, thus informing and characterizing her style of diving and resurfacing through many different sub genres. After falling for this direction in music, she started DJing to share the tracks she has collected and built up throughout the years to create experiences/journeys within her sets.

In our interview, she told us about her lifelong dream of traveling to distant countries. Currently, however, she is still struggling with her fear of spiders, which somewhat diminishes her desire to travel. Soon, when she has her savings together, she wants to gather all her courage and defy the little eight-legged creatures.
Likewise, our guest today is very committed to animals and the environment. "I wish people would wake up and change something in their consumer behavior and act according to their actual affection for animals, which is already present with most. " At the same time, however, she does not want to offend or even attack anyone.
