With the spring season now in motion Soundteller Records presents the latest installment of their ‘Vibrant Vibeland’ series. The Polish imprint has become synonymous for the various artists compilation series. With the first edition released in 2014, it’s been a remarkable seven year run with thirteen volumes over that stretch, making the ever growing series a much anticipated part of the label’s release schedule. Continually searching the globe for the finest in progressive house, the Vibrant Vibeland series has shown how far-reaching our scene really is, giving Soundteller an avenue to showcase new talent and stretch it’s borders to now include melodic house & techno and organic house. Serge Landar - Rising [Soundteller Records]

It is no stretch to say that D Nox and Beckers are an integral part of the global dance music scene. Not only are they known for their 17 year long collaboration delivering high energy main room bombs, but as solo artists, they've carved names recognised as a stamp of quality around the world. We cannot be more excited to host the German duo for their debut Balance Music release, a dream like progressive workout that showcases their years of experience.

On the original version of 'Deep in the Dark', the reflective vocals of LENN V s is the perfect accompaniment to the single's deep yet driving energy. The warm, running bass playfully bounces off the dense production, while a bittersweet melody creates a narrative that will reward multiple listens.

Fur Coat deliver a remix that is vintage yet forward thinking in equal spades. The trademark tight and punchy drums, house a driving bass line that feels huge. The vocals feel more urgent, while the melody is aimed straight at the heartstrings. It also features a satisfying breakdown that reminds of the halcyon years of progressive house.

On Fur Coat's Dub mix, a more pronounced melody replaces the vocals, allowing more space for dancers to lose themselves in. If you listen closely, you should be able to lose yourself in the mix too.

The latest installment in our free download series welcomes Nicolas Rada for his third appearance. Upon beginning his career in 2007, Nicolas quickly became a favourite of Hernan Cattaneo where his original productions and private remixes become a staple in the sets of the storied DJ. Hailing from Buenos Aires, the Argentinean artist eventually found a home on Nick Warren’s The Soundgarden and Eelke Kleijn’s Days Like Nights where his groovy progressive sound has flourished. 2017 proved to be a breakout year, highlighted by his first remix collaboration with Nick Warren, where the duo reworked Upercent’s ‘Pulsacions’ to both critical and commercial success. Now frequent studio partners, Nicolas and Nick have continued to build a strong studio synergy showcasing their original material on Nick’s The Soundgarden imprint while also recording a string of impressive remixes for Get Physical, Monday Social Music, Proton Music and Timeless Moment. On the solo front, Nicolas has also continued to prosper with an appearance on Patrice Buamel’s GU Berlin compilation, along with original projects for Sudbeat Music and TRYBESof. Having first appeared on our free download series with his hugely sought-after remake of Bjork’s ‘Mutual Core’ in 2019 and then again in 2020 with an equally large rendition of Underworld’s ‘Cowgirl’, we’re happy to welcome Nicolas back with a huge interpretation of the Depeche Mode classic ‘Precious’. Initially remixed by progressive house icons Sasha and Spooky in 2005, Nicolas now brings a new perspective to the track which has been championed by John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. From slate-grey skies and industrial scenery, a Berlin portrait captures Daniel Helmstedt in "Luv / Lee". Majestic piano sequences sweep gently across a melodic landscape coalescing in sonic clouds that shift and transform. Rhythmic foundations criss-cross in regular patterns hewn into the mountainside in sweeping juxtaposition, while glassy synth phrasing glistens on ocean waves. Distorted patterns create a new cadence wrapped in emotive passages that cut through in bristling, sparkling formations.

A returning visitor, Haen reimagines "Lee" through a new lens where the Isle of Skye represents a magnificent sonic vision. Familiar motifs float across rocky percussive outcrops where violin passages permeate the lush verdant landscape and pulsating waves crash against the shoreline in elemental force. Meeting Molly and Mango forge a new friendship where subtle textures and reversed fragments crystalise into new sonic shards. A fluid, ever-changing scenery shimmers in melodic counterpoint and incongruent effects add a touch of intrigue. "Luv" takes a new form courtesy of Djimboh where memorable syncopation creates innovation and aural prowess. Delicate new shapes form a recognisable configuration in the path ahead and subterranean basslines emerge from the depths of the earth to steer a new route across the mountainside.

"At the end of last year I had been listening to many mixes from the flow sessions series 333 and I was really intrigued by the concept. It’s interesting when life brings you towards your attentions as it wasn’t long after in December that I attended Elements Festival where I met the wonderful Corr who invited me to create a set for the series.

This sonic scape is a journey of electronica, deep and melodic organic house and builds up to more progressive house. My intention is to capture the feel of those unique magical moments that we experience at Australian festival dancefloors, as we haven’t had many chances to be there physically due to the current situation. It was great having the extra time and freedom to meld more subdued melodic and introverted aspects into a mix of this style.

The latest edition of our free download series finds Ezequiel Arias returning for his fifth appearance. Hailing from Cordoba, the Argentinean artist sits amongst progressive music’s elite, with releases on Anjunadeep, Replug, Sudbeat and The Soundgarden highlighting his discography, along with support from the genre’s premiere tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. In past installments of our series Ezequiel has taken to editing and remixing iconic tracks from 16 Bit Lolitas and Active Child. Looking back across electronic music’s history once again, the Cordoba resident now unveils his edit of Sasha’s memorable remix of Unkle’s ‘In A State’. Released in 2003 on Universal Music, before eventually being featured on the first edition of Sasha’s acclaimed ‘Involver’ mix series, the British DJs epic take on the track still resonates strongly today. Now as we kick off a new year in our free download series we’re pleased to present Ezequiel’s fresh update on the track. Finding favour with Hernan Cattaneo, Jody Wisternoff and more, it’s been in demand as a result and we’re happy to offer it as an exclusive free download to you. Enjoy!
