2013 has been another great year for Poker Flat Recordings. The imprint continued to carry out its mission - an unwavering dedication to the finest underground house music worldwide.

The unintentional focus on Berlin talent in 2013 is well represented on this essential compilation with Alex Niggemann's double contribution: the exceptional 'Tangram (The Bright End)' and Andre Lodemann's version of 'Lovers feat John Rydell', Martin Landsky's raw 'ET2', and Daniel Dexter's 'Birds' (remixed by Kollektiv Turmstrasse) as well of Uner's remix of 'Why So Serious'. 

Other undisputed highlights from the year include the return of the Foremost Poets - with remixes from both Dixon and label boss Steve Bug remixing 'Reasons to be Dismal' and 'No Adjustments' re- spectively. Throw in Wouter de Moor and Johannes Brecht, who have both seriously delivered over the year and we can easily say that going 15 years strong, each year seems to bring quality for DJs and electronic music-lovers alike.

All three tracks on this EP were actually made for the Âme live show, but at the end it turned out that we used them in our DJ sets too. 
Due to the great feedback we decided to put them on a 12-inch accompanying the Âme Live CD. Karl Hyde and James Lavelle on one 12-inch should be something for a lad's paradise and even 'Enoi' sounds brighter than before.

Biographie :

Maksim Dark - Born in a small quiet town is not as lush techno music. Since childhood, he loved electro house. In 2008 he began to listen to minimal techno. Maksim was very surprised by these sounds are not the usual minimal style. After two years of work in the clubs trying to write music like Maksim deeper minimal dark, after much persistent lessons on creating the music found its sound. To listen to his music began in many countries: Germany, Serbia, USA, Brazil, Italy, France and others. His style makes looking at the music more deeply and to penetrate into each Chastity brain and enjoy the feeling is not repeatable. It is also a director of the dark label SHINOCS MUSIC.
