An important precursor to the likes of Torque - most of the tracks here are from Nico, Trace & Ed Rush, with Doc Scott, Cronic Crew (Krust), The Limit (Grooverider) & Raw Deal/Elementz of Noise along for the ride. The festive season is here and I just hit 2 million plays, so it's a double celebration. Now if, like me, you think that nothing says Christmas like a bit of soul-crushingly dark techstep then I'm sure this festive offering won't disappoint. Indeed, this idea is one I've been sat on for a while; my mixing habits have definitely slowed this year but I really wanted to grind a decent one out before 2025. 

The mix rationale then. Caught up somewhere between my 500th listening of Trace & Ed Rush's legendary '97 One In The Jungle set, and the preceding year's Tech Steppin compilation, I found myself asking a simple question. What if the legendary (and it really is fucking legendary) 'No U-Turn Experience' mix had been made a year earlier? Why don't you ponder that for a minute, grab a large Baileys, pop this on and kick back. Merry Christmas.

PS. I couldn't post this up without a big shout to Nico @messingaboutwithsounds. His interview with Bailey earlier in the year gave a fascinating insight into the formation of this scene.
