A slow classic build-up with crisp hihats and a smooth bassline leads closer and closer to the main melody. An epic room filling trancy sound which is easy to get lost in. Halfway Amir goes all out and blows us all away when he makes the melody even greater, working perfectly together with the bassline and the vocals. A wonderful creation by the talented Amir Telem!

Amir starts with a deep mesmerizing groove that paves the way for airy pads and sweet melodic arps. Once you hear the catchy woodblocks come in, it doesn't take long for the massive bassline to join too. What a sweet conjunction! It's a subtle track in which all elements work so well together, a true masterpiece by Amir!

Amir Telem - Kamalnatha (Sandeep's Deeper Groove Mix)
The first on remix duties is Sandeep. As always, his groove is right on point. Minimalistic and right on point! When the clap comes in, the track emits pure energy right away. A wobbling pad is there to drift away on and when it starts to move there is nothing left to do but dance the night away! Massive remix by Sandeep!

Amir Telem - Kamalnatha (Cosmosolar Remix)
Cosmosolar went a whole different direction. Right from the start there is a true club vibe to this track. Its deep and the roomy synth stabs give this dark energy to it. The melody only adds on to this atmosphere. A track with a very unique atmosphere which will be a true banger on the dancefloor. Awesome stuff by Cosmosolar!

This weekend we have very young and talented DJ, Pinar Temren, who was born in İstanbul, Turkey 🇹🇷 in 1999. She started DJ'ing by herself when she was 16, her biggest inspiration was Charlotte De Witte and she followed her footsteps. Pınar loves and plays Techno since she is 16. Now, she is a student at Istanbul Technıcal Unıversıty and studying Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. She is also DJ'ing in Istanbul, working as resident DJ in a lot of radios. Pınar wants to achıeve more in the future. Powerful set!!! Please enjoy!

la`too became fascinated with electronic music during first visit on Love Parade in 2001 .Throughout all these years, his passion for various musical genres has changed but nowadays he likes to combine the electronic vibes with melodic, playful bass and an admixture of Indie . On a daily basis, a founder and owner of MELODIC.DEEP.HOUSE where he supports local artists and also hosts artists from worldwide labels such Diynamic, Radikon, Katermukke, Sincopat, Innervisions, Atlant. Together with his friend Tomesh, he started a new project - Tom`s Square (2019), he also joined the Pozytyvka Crew , which regularly organizes events in his hometown.

Paleo ist eine Abkürzung für Paläolithikum. Diese Zeitperiode ist auch als Altsteinzeit bekannt und wird zwischen 600.000 bis 10.000 vor Christus datiert. Manch einer mag den Begriff Paleo auch aus der Ernährungslehre kennen. Hierbei beschreibt der Begriff eine Ernährungsform auf Basis natürlicher Lebensmittel, bei gleichzeitigem Verzicht auf verarbeitete Produkte. Genauer gesagt wird bei einer Paleo-Ernährungsweise viel auf Fleisch, Fisch, Nüsse, sowie Obst und Gemüse zurückgegriffen. Auf der anderen Seite kommen weder Weizen, zuckerhaltige Nahrungsmittel oder auch Milchprodukte auf den Tisch. Generell kann diese Art des Speiseplans als ambivalent angesehen werden. Zum einen werden Anwender durch den begrenzten Verzehr von Kohlenhydraten weniger mit schnellverfügbarer Energie beliefert. Auf der anderen Seite beinhaltet ein solche Ernährung eine hohe Menge an essenziellen Aminosäuren und auch der Bedarf an ungesättigten- und Omega3-Fettsäuren kann durch diesen Ernährungsstil vollständig abgedeckt werden. Der aktuelle Konsum von Fleisch und Fisch ist jedoch kaum mit dem in der Steinzeit vergleichbar. Heutzutage bekommen Tiere aus konventioneller Haltungen hauptsächlich Kraftfutter und wenig natürliche Nahrung. Wer sich mit Paleo gesund ernähren möchte, sollte Wert auf eine hohe Lebensmittelqualität legen. Darüber hinaus ist diese Essgewohnheit nicht für jeden geeignet und sollte/kann den individuellen Präferenzen entsprechend gestaltet werden. 

Paleo ist auch das Pseudonym von unserem heutigen Gast & KataHaifisch Crew Mitglied. Auf einer Länge von 138 Minuten präsentiert er uns seine Favoriten des Downtempo Genres. Der Podcast verströmt eine fröhliche und heitere Atmosphäre. Die Tracks sind sommerlich und wie gemacht für ein Open Air am Strand und einen eisgekühlten Cocktail. For those that follow me, I'm not known for playing House music. This set is my version of House. 

Here is the inspiration:
I've been traveling a lot... Barcelona, NYC, Miami, San Diego, LA, Istanbul, Kenya, Burning Man, Mexico City, Mountain camping, and recently returned from Sarasota, FL where I was visiting my parents and a couple of friends. 

Although I don't have a physical home in any of these places, (I didn't even have a tent at Burning Man), my connection with others made me feel at home. When I travel, music guides my journey- I dance through unfamiliar streets and explore the world. 

While in Sarasota I was invited to a "fashionable" event so I dressed accordingly... in true (dusty) style. I noticed the Event producer/DJ was wearing a similar robe/kimono & necklace, so I introduced myself and discovered he was also a burner. We immediately synced and he invited me to tag in and play during the event. Afterward, he graciously invited me to DJ at a local club. He made me feel at home. 

The friends that hosted me in SRQ have been the most supportive and loving over the years- encouraging me to be myself and express my authentic self. Which is reflective of all my friends. "You like to paint your toenails? that's cool and we don't question your sexuality just because other men don't do that- you are being you!"

I felt so comfortable being myself and not caring what others thought. Just because they think/act/dress/speak/do what everyone else does... doesn't mean I have to. 

At the club, Nati (https://soundcloud.com/nati-shabbat) played "The Biggest Heart- Roy Rosenfeld" and we were vibing. This set begins with that track and created a lovely house set in memory of the weekend and all my recent solo trips. The set ends with the track "Don't hold back -  Monolink", which is a reminder to be yourself and don't hold back. 

Always have the courage to be yourself, and whenever you are by yourself... Home/House is where the heart is. I hope this set makes you feel at home too.
