To mark the release of their latest EP "Endless Sunday'' on the Berlin-based record label Thisbe Recordings, Parisian duo Nomenklatür embarks us on a one hour journey across some of their latest productions as well as their hot picks of the moment, crossing genres that define their sound : Synthpop, New Wave and EBM. This is followed by two more DJ sets by Krasnodar-based Rambal Cochet, aka Volta Cab, who produced remixes of each of the two singles of Nomenklatür´s EP, as well as a back-to-back set by Thisbe Recordings´Pyrame and Andrew Claristidge.

Endless Sunday Session w/ Rambal Cochet + Volta Cab - 04.12.22

Producer/Dj based in Berlin Pitu Razvan aka Utip is an up and coming Berlin based artist who draws his inspiration from the city's unique underground house scene. His music combines a series of minimal and house elements with groovy beats. He enjoys and finds his escape in the beauty of connecting to an audience through the energy created by the sound of the music.

He also played in clubs like Sisyphos, Promenade ECK, Minimal Bar and Dance Bars like Damen Salon, Wrangler 87, OT Raum, Old CCP in Berlin. The music he makes is based on the charme of analog synthesizers but also on other instruments that he has in his studio, his tracks were mixed in different corners of the world by different djs of caliber. At the moment he has music released also on Backstage Records (Romania), Ariki Records(Romania), Conceptum Records (Brazil), Pianity (France).

Utip Showcase - 03.12.22

as usual. is a Berlin-based imprint for electronic music, which basically began as a weekly event series in 2013. Four years later, the music label as usual.music was launched and concentrates on releasing a deeply groovin' cutting-edge sound in various facets, delivered by some fabulous artists of the labels surrounding, as well as several other renowned acts with a contemporary sense for underground and club music.

as usual.music is focused on Techhouse and Minimal, with influences of multiform ranges in Techno and House music, such as Deeptech/Deephouse. Deeply groovin' cutting-edge sounds and crispy tight rhythms are basic to what makes it shakin' or bangin' – consequently, the demanding nature of our music is fundamentally made for having maximum aesthetics to please the dancefloors. With no fear to break the rules at some point. It's represented by some of the most interesting artists in the underground music and club scene. We love to connect diverse aspects of creativity to having an intense excitement in projects and concepts. The result is a highly inspiring and perceptive state of quality dance music. Taking the challenge of the ongoing evolution in contemporary music industries and feeling the impulses of tomorrow are implanted genes of our beings.

Physicist turned music and record producer, Berlin-based Pyrame’s emergence into the electronic music scene is a story of wanderlust, dream catching and cosmic energy. A poet at heart, he takes the opportunity to create raw emotion through both his melodies and lyrics, when if you listen closely, are inspired by his endless adventures of the world around him.

Combining elements of synth-pop, post-punk and progressive electro, his DJ affair of building both his sound and his label contains a touch of surrealism, heritage and fantasy, as his inspiration is pulled from the twists and turns of Greek Mythology. His record label, appropriately named Thisbe Recordings, comes from the myth of “Pyramus and Thisbe” which are most well known as the couple of ill-fated lovers by the ancient poet Ovid.

Over the years, Pyrame has produced several mixes - "The Pace of Everything that Lives", "Electronica Melancholia", "Senses High" - and has been remixed by influential producers such as Arnaud Rebotini, Inigo Vontier, Acid Washed, Theus Mago, Local Suicide, Skelesys, La Mverte, Semodi and many more. More recently, Pyrame immersed himself into techno by exploring sub-genres such as tribal slow techno with Radial Gaze with their collab EP "Voodooridoo" and leftfield deep techno with Andrey Sirotkin and their collab EP "Untouchable".

Expect more from Pyrame in 2025, as the year unfolds and several busting releases are already  lined up both on his label´s front as well as with his own music. This, keeping faithful to his vision of staying indie and in the underground.

AGLE - Spatial Anomalies - May 2025

David Naville, aka @pyrame, is a Lausanne-born Berlin-based music & record producer. He founded his electronic music record label THISBE Recordings in 2020 in order to produce artists whose music stands at the crossroads of the main genres of electro, house and techno music.  

His set is a - lite - THISBE Recordings´showcase featuring several tracks released earlier this year by, among others, Nomenklatür, Agle, Radial Gaze and Kubebe, or about to be released . His mix also features curated tracks from fellow labels such as Playground records, Bonkers Music, Belly Dancers Services and Side Up Works.

Regularly behind the decks in Berlin and abroad, Pyrame subtly blends sub-genres, from slow techo to minimal electro, from indie house to leftfield techno, bringing along the listener onto a melancholic yet hopeful musical trip, his new mix being yet another evidence of his focus on converging where the genres´ boundaries meet.  

In June this year, Pyrame released his new EP "Mutation", available now on Bandcamp and all streaming platforms.

Alexandra is the co-founder and curator of the Berlin-based Mellifow record label and an incredibly fine selector. She has been part of the Sunrise family since the early beginnings, bringing an energetic and refined sound to the dancefloor. 

This set is a collection of many shades of house music that she digs right now, with some drops of electro, breaks, and bass music. It was recorded on a very sunny, warm, and beautiful day in September.
