Welcome to the WE ARE ONE Podcast Episode 166 with Sheffe from Deventer, Netherlands!

Sheffe is a producer/dj based in Deventer, The Netherlands. These days there are plenty of genres and styles within the electronic scene, which cause our minds to be fixated / square and stuck into the "rules" of those music genres. We can always pursue those styles and learn from them a lot, but always keep a warm place for our unique sound and style.

Sheffe's main goal is the merging of a melancholic paints into the whole. This is a flight of fantasy, desire for a synergy with like-minded people.

Each set is another expedition into the various realms of organic house music.  He likes to create a storyline with a timeless feel of romantic melodies and emotional narrative for an adult audience.

Urban Soundscapes 2 Year Showcase w/ Redfreya - 25.10.22

Here is my mix from the recent Pelican Villa Party.

I am so grateful to have connect with the Villa many years ago. They are now my family and I can honestly say my life is complete having all these wonderful people is my life, the experiences that I have had and the opportunities that have come from this community.

Since learning to mix last year during the extreme Melbourne lockdowns, I wanted to demonstrate every side of musical expression through this mix. 

From when I was that awkward little goth girl listening to Depeche Mode, to my love for Anjunadeep and then adding some dirty driving beats to give you a hint of some of my heavy metal side that will be featured more in the future - this mix is my heart.

I hope you all enjoy it too.
