Quadrakey represents the harmony of a top-tier DJ/Producer duo. Based in Berlin, this happily married couple has been DJing since the early 2000s and officially became Quadrakey in 2007. Their years of experience have honed their ability to expertly move the dancefloor. Their exceptional ability to blend various shades of house music – shaped by their love for classic house, deep house, jazz and soulful rhythms – has established them as top-notch selectors. From their Berlin studio, they craft tracks that are melodic, emotional, and full of groove. In 2015, after years of collecting records, they launched their label, Tooman Records. The label’s motto, “House music with a deep passion”, reflects the energy they bring to the dancefloor. Their carefully curated catalog positions the label for a promising future. In early 2018, Quadrakey began hosting their monthly radio show, “Deep Passion” on Bloop Radio London, a cutting-edge electronic music station featuring DJs and club nights from London and beyond. Art: Da Vinci Virus - Brennan Steele

Symbolizing the connection between people, technology, and the environment, the Da Vinci Virus was a giant kinetic clockwork bacteriophage. Participants powered the bio machine by pulling a dangling chain to rotate the cube and engage the clockwork skin of the capsid head, thus spinning all of the gears in unison revealing hidden murals etched on each face.  Inline with the theme of last years burn, the Virus was inspired by Da Vinci’s love off geared machines, and burned Friday Night.

An epic sunrise and then a mesmerizing beautiful morning. No sand storms this time. Absolutely quiet and peaceful Playa. Feelings of of happiness, the fulfillment of the moment, and childish enlightenment were taking us over, and even of something more, something that is hard to describe, because it is rather similar to magic, that is flowing in the air over that giant heart on the top of bus.

We'd like to spread our love and gratefulness to every one who was still with us at midday, while the sun was in its zenith. We literally got burnt under its rays. It must have been the hottest day of that week. But could it stop us? No way. That 3,5 hours were like one moment.

Our congratulations and thanks to the Robot Heart team. You've been producing love for 10 years and granting happiness in Black Rock City. We could feel it from outside, and now we are honored to be part of it. We really appreciate it.
