Subterranea are back in 2024 and leading the way with our 60th edition of the podcast series is deep-house maestro Al Bradley. Officially one of the nicest dudes around, always playing with a smile and ready for a hug, Al has been running the excellent 3am recordings since 2003 and DJing since he was a toddler (probably!) as It’s very rare that you’ll catch him without a record in his hands.

Richard’s fellow Yorkshireman Robert has bestowed upon him an epic remix of a track featuring David Bowie's pianist, Mike Garson, and David J (Bauhaus/Love & Rockets) on bass. Robert strips down and beefs up the mix to present Garson’s expressive, operatic piano lines in all their glory, dancing around the raw, searching sound of the electric guitar.
The original appears on his recent album “Opening Scene” which reached #164 on the US NACC national college radio charts and gained a four star review in Shindig Magazine... “Opening Scene demonstrates a broodingly sinister, consistently unique sound that's ill-served by comparisons. Art-rock for lounge lizards? Inquire within.”
