DJ and Producer of Underground House Music. Started life in Nottingham in the early 90's by holding afterparties in the inner city areas of town, and outdoor raves beyond the cities limits. We founded Quadrant Sound System in summer 1995 and my career in music took off after our monthly bash 'Rebound' became a regular haunt for all sorts of clubbers from the midlands area, later hitting the top 20 club events in the UK as voted by Mixmag and featured on Radio 1. We travelled east with the Technoville Festival in 1997 and moved Rebound to Prague after a summer of partying, this helped lift an international career for me playing in some amazing cities across Europe and the U.S.

I run CForm/ConnectforMusic, & I'm one of the original members of Quadrant Sound System. 
I've been active on the music scene for many years. So it's a natural progression to continue taking things forward…Bringing all of my experiences and ideas to the mix., creating and pushing forward a new joint project. Connect4Music (Radio) & CForm Record label.                                                                                                          You’ll also see me put together regular treats and collaborating with some of the best creative talent. Including the best DJs/artists from the underground electronic music scene. Bringing live performances, along with DJ’s digging into their creates, and putting together a blended collection of their fav’s. Both of which build on previous radio shows & events I was involved with, alongside Julian Zizko, (known as Meme), where we developed a decent reputation for bringing quality events and parties, including those held at ‘Moog’, ‘The Bodega’, ‘Suede Bar’ and ‘The Angel’, along with a very successful Hockley Hustle event.

I have also collaborated & come together with the BigFaces (Jodie Parker & Coxie), on a highly reputed party at The Bohunk Institute.  An event which honoured the Music Exchange. (A record shop, now gone from these parts, but not from our hearts). Then further events with them at Bar Eleven, Rough Trade and the I-Club.
Before all this began though, my story starts in the mid 90’s with Quadrant Sound System. ‘Quadrant’ was born out of good friends who shared a love for music, especially all things electronic. This led to wonderful collaborations and experiences, alongside opportunities to play at many various events across England and Europe, either with Quadrant or as a guest DJ. Appearing alongside; Chris Duckenfield, Dave Clarke, Luke Solomon, Charles Webster, Schmoov, Ralph Lawson, and Pepe Braddock, among others. I’ve also had the privilege to spin tunes at Smokescreen and DiY parties too.

All of which brought together a decision to explore music further. Enough so, that I decided to start putting out my own productions, either through ‘Connect for Music’ (a label he set up himself), or released through other projects. You’ll more likely find me under my aliases, ‘Joseki’ & ‘i-level’. Collaborations with Damien Bailey (Babble/Special Interest), have brought some well received releases too, on American label ‘Tango’, and more recently on Andy Riley and Simon ‘Da Sunlounge’ Newby’s label, ‘Borrowed’. One that obtained a lot of support from various DJs globally.  There has also been a release with Ben Leary, called ‘Siris’, was also well supported and played out by Richie Hawtin & Marco Corola, plus a track with Mark PF, which appeared on BBC Radio & Radio 1 extra. Which pretty much ties all the story together and into this present moment

Damien Bailey - Dj and Producer.
(Tango- Kolour recordings - Guesthouse).

Damien Bailey (Special Interest) started out as a DJ with Leicester's Verbal and Babble Soundsystems and is a well known face on the deephouse scene. As a founder member of the production outfit Funky Transport with release on 20/20 vision,Ten lovers music and Brique rouge,he went on to form Special Interest with Tom Latham of Smokescreen Sound System and label manager of Phobic records. The duo released tracks on renowned labels Mobile Trax, Guesthouse (USA), Tango(USA) and Phobic (UK), as well as having a track licensed for the Miguel Mig's compilation 'Get Salted'. Damien's name blew up big time at the start of the year with his rework of 'I like it' on Tango Recordings featuring the vocal talents of Elise Taylor, which became an underground house anthem over the summer and was licensed to the compilation 'OM:Dubai'.Also so his follow up release on Tango Soul truth ft Riz and ilevel was remixed by Jonny Fiasco and was frequently played by Mark Farina etc.
Other projects and remixes include tracks on Flavour Recordings, Connected Music,Kolour recordings,Purple onion and Union.Through his music he's produced he has played across Europe and  America.
