Strange Cadence is an independent record label and event series run by @Middle-James, dedicated to showcasing the intersection of jazz, deep house, techno and leftfield electronic. Based in Sydney, the label is driven by a passion for groove-rich productions and live performances where musicality takes center stage.

This new mix series shines a light on the vibrant Australian underground music scene, kicking off with a special recording from Middle James and their recent show with Australian ambient/jazz/electronic outfit @GODTET. The debut episode takes listeners on a slower, immersive journey - blending downtempo and jazzy selections before evolving into deeper shades of house.
