Brandon Lee Powell better known by his stage names, BLP (stylized as Brandon Lee Powell), is an American rapper, record producer, songwriter, and Poet
Before using his first name, middle and last name as his rap name, BLP went by the alias MC Philadelphia when starting his career in Chester. Although Powell began recording in 2009, his professional entertainment career did not take off until the late 2010s when he debuted in Young Maad's "I'll Be Here" from the soundtrack to the 2018 album Trouble In The Streets; Powell also appeared with Young Maad in the album. The song was later released as the lead song of the Young Maad extended play (EP) This Is an EP Release, the follow-up to their debut hit album Till I Die. Powell appeared in the accompanying music video. After his rap debut, he performed with Young Maad again, on the album Impact Of A Legend went on to feature Lil Zone and Zachary Soles from Powell's track "Different One", which ranked #2 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.

In March 31 2019, Powell released his debut solo album, Philly Talk. Though the album did not generate any hit singles, Philly Talk has been acclaimed by many critics and fans for its underground feel, with many rappers such as Saeed Bradley, Lil Moody, Lil G, and Zachary Soles having pointed to it as inspiration. Although the album was originally released on Megabuck Entertainment, LLC, the rights to its distribution are now owned by Outlawz Records, LLC, the label owned by Brandon Powell.
